I drove 900 miles, across 3 states in the south (I-40) and didn’t see a single other Raptor. But mine did a fine job pulling my camper and my average mpg’s for the trip, 11.9.
I bumped into a post at a gas station, knowing I wasn’t that close so it ticked me off and I released a little frustration on the gas pedal leaving only to realize when I got on the interstate that my friend had gotten something out of the bed and left the tailgate down. No damage, thankfully...
Been living on a prayer with my battery since I bought my truck over two years ago, glad she didn’t need a jump to crank yesterday morning after sitting in sub freezing cold for a couple of days.
I took Miss Big Booty off roading today ;-). I really don’t enjoy that sinking feeling (front left tire) when I pull up in someone’s driveway. Oh well so much for tire shine. :-/
1. Parking next door to a Tesla, I never know when they leave…but they always know when I leave
2. Plenty of room, right?
Wrong, grandma backed right into my tire.
3. Because I saw it and y’all need to see it too.
I like cats but can’t imagine traveling with one; her husband was in...
This is a real world look at a 2011 Gen 1, that spent the majority of her life as a US Fish and Wildlife Service truck. This is approximately 150,000 miles without being reset. Nah, 10.9 isn’t the greatest but y’all want reality. Fact is, I try to be easy on the accelerator (and the brakes) but...
Thanks any help is appreciated. That same corner had a bad brake line when I bought it so those, again on both sides, are only about two years old. Fortunately it’s repaired and I’m back to terrifying other drivers.
Didn’t find anything except for the unusual wear around the edge. Everything functioned normally when it was taken apart. I have new pads on the front (both sides) and 3 drilled and slotted rotors and one drilled with very little slotting left due to the unfortunate need for that rotor to be turned.
Proud Gen 1 owner, admiring the double beauties and beasts in front of me.
Sorry I didn’t get your name. PM me, especially if you get that R. I’m sure you’ll succeed. AND nice job leaving there, sounds good.
I was out for a brake test today and saw this Gen 3 37 beauty. Yes I expect flack from some, it’s cool. I love lots of vehicles, but I proudly own this Gen 1.
Sorry I didn’t get your name. PM me, especially if you get that R. I’m sure you’ll succeed. AND nice leaving there.
Maybe it was just a bad pad. Like I said earlier, my dumb luck. SH!
I have a ride that imo was built to leave digging and stop dragging. I really don’t beat on her though. There is a fine line when leaving a red light between leaving with traffic or leaving traffic. I don’t attempt to stop for...
Thanks. I’ve posted at least one other funny (about my headlight burning) but no one got the joke. I was beginning to think that my normal everyday conversation only made sailors laugh.
Pin wasn’t stuck and we can’t find any reason for this malfunction. I was towing when this grab and rub took place, with everything properly connected, but I wondered if towing had anything to do with this. Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated.
I took this picture and then rolled on by him only to see him taking my picture.
Oh and some dude at the gas station asked me if she was an F-350. He was very surprised that a little ole F-150 came from the factory with this big of an engine and Baja ready.
Cranked her up for this cross state trek and immediately the MPG’s dropped from 13.0 to 12.9 and didn’t stop dropping until I parked her here, finishing up at 12.0 mpg. I can’t complain.
Also decided to use 4L when I realized I was going to have more fun than the yard.
Another time around for the mileage on Trip B, seems it was last reset with about 12,000 miles on the truck, so it’s been a while.
Odometer is about to make a bit of a milestone too.
Miss Big Booty saves the dumb, I mean day, again.
The neighbor has three sons and between them, their idea was to rent a truck. Two Colorado’s both with bed covers and a Camry is their vehicle selections. What the hell are trucks and neighbors for anyway?
I even retrieved the one the sweet...
