New OEM Fox Racing shocks and struts and new springs up front. Also ditched the chrome lug nuts in favor of black while i was at it. Can't believe how much better it rides; must be the lug nuts
So with the price that RockAuto offered, it seemed more sensible to replace the shocks/struts than to rebuild them. First off, what a difference in ride!!! Like night and day. I guess my original ones were shot. Anyway, this seemed like a really dumb question at first, but the more I thought...
The only mount I've seen mentioned was the SDHQ and it's $400! Anyone else seen a mount, hidden, that's not more expensive than the winch?? I don't want an aftermarket bumper. I'm leaning toward either a Smittybilt or Barricade 12000 lb model at this point. The Barricade is the lightest by...
Riddick,
I think you and I have similar sound we're going for but after listening to the Borla video from their site with the Touring setup, I thought it was terrific, especially on the drive by, not raspy, just sounded like a proper V8. Is that not a good representation of how it sounded in...
So did you go with the Borla Touring? I've spent more time than I'd like to admit listening to different setups on the internet and still haven't heard anything I like better than the Borla Touring; it sounds terrific on their web site sound test and especially on the drive by. Sounds to me...
Open mouth, insert foot. I looked a little harder after posting and saw the "Ford Racing Blue" mentioned. Blasphemy huh? Uh oh; I'll keep it on the downlow if I go any other color then...
I thought I remembered why but looking at the first post again; what is the significance of the light blue valve covers? Offered on some hi po engines of the past?
I've enjoyed seeing the different ideas on this thread and added a little color to mine until I find a set I can paint for real...
As I look through the Fairfield Collectibles catalog this month, I see all manner of niche automobiles from over the years; Baldwin Motion Camaros, Plymouth Belvedere GTXs, a 1959 Jaguar Mark II Saloon and yet, I have never come across a 1:18 scale, Gen 1 Raptor to add to my collection. Is this...
I'd like to figure out how to make mine sound like a 2017 Shelby GT350 inside and outside. IIRC, I saw something where you could pipe in all sorts of different engine notes with a cool program that could make your Gen 2 sound like, say, an F1 car for example.
This is a great question. Reminds me of the "Sunday bag" my grandfather would play golf with at times. Only had a couple clubs, 3 wood, 5 iron, 9 iron, putter and maybe one more. Thing was, he scored very well that way...
Walking one of the maintenance guys through the mechanical room in the building today and I think I may have stumbled on my next mod for my Gen 1...engine swap anyone??
I can't pull the pics up at work. Is it tiny inside? The one I see on Amazon looks like a large wallet would take up most of the space. I'm looking for one that doesn't use up all of that giant console box?
Very good. Order #2470. Happy Chinese Virus shut-in day to me...
I would like to suggest custom graphics on the container. I'd like the Punisher skull with Trump hair...or a simple American flag would be fine too!!:happy3:
I'm sorry, but I think this line of questions and answers belongs in the thread, "My wife has my balls, took them right out of my purse; and won't give them back" not in a "what car gets you attention" thread; no? Or at least an exhaust thread...
