For those here purchasing their first Raptor, it will be the best truck you've ever owned...No Doubt. I don't care which generation you're looking at. However, writing off the TRX as Ram trash is asinine. Does it handle differently than a Raptor...Yes. If I wanted my TRX to drive like my...
Correct, I was more partial to the Gen 1. I think I’m like many, I love competition, brings the best products to the consumers. My initial feeling is that I would 100% give the Raptor R a spin if it can be attained at a less than Out of this World price point. I think for me, the Gen 1 was like...
I think you hit the nail on the head...not sure I can give you the answer you're looking for, because mine did not have the Live Valves...My Gen 2 was jittery going over potholes during normal driving (as compared to my Gen 1 Raptor). I compensated by airing down the tires. But because of the...
This is impressive. The TRX will eventually have tunes available, where the speed limiter is lifted as well. The 6.2 hellcat has lots of room for growth. I can confirm this just by comparing my TRX to my Redeye Challenger. Night and Day difference in performance between the two. My...
I can see that, and I was indeed worried about catastrophic failure. It was 2017/2018 so there was plenty to worry about. And, I (at least in my mind) completely wrote dodge off after a bad experience I had with their product back in 2010. Switched to Ford (Multiple F-250s and Raptors) from...
Referring specifically to materials used in the interior. They are IMHO leading this category currently. You are most definitely correct that fuel economy is a BIG PLAYER for most, but not all drivers. And I whole heartedly agree with other posts on this forum concerning Plastic Battery...
Bro, not getting into a pissing match with you. Ford makes a good truck, 6 cylinder was not for me. Take it for what it is...an objective, first person perspective, previous owner of all review. But if you're asking if any Raptor ever has lost an engine...of course it has...every brand has...
What you say makes zero sense to me. Why would Ford emulate its own truck. I said it set the standard for others to emulate. And I agree that the Gen 2 was better than the Gen 1, but again, the turbo 6 in the end, was not my preferred engine choice. And it’s perfectly rational to get rid of a...
As you stated, my personal opinion after owning and driving all three. I am In no way implying it’s for everyone. And Ford makes a great truck, would never knock it, other than the turbo 6 was not for me.
I've had the opportunity to own a Gen 1, Gen 2 and now the TRX. The Gen 1 was my favorite Raptor. It set the standard for all others to emulate. The Gen 2 was fairly short lived for me. Loved the looks, hated the sewing machine sound from the cam phasers when cold started. 32K miles and it...
2011 Gen 1 goes down as one of the best trucks I've ever owned. When the miles were high enough (over 100K miles), I replaced it with a Gen 2. That truck seemed better in every way, but it never made me feel the same as my Gen 1 did. At 32K miles, the cam phasers were making so much noise it...
Traded my 801a 2017 (pictured to the left), 32K miles for $53,000.00 flat. I paid $59,650 (all in) 2 years ago. They hold their value. As did my 2011 when I traded it for the 2017.
I've just become aware that the MPT tunes are VIN specific...No longer for sale...Gonna pass it on to the new owner. Beadlock rings are still available.
UDATE...Wheels have been sold. I still have the MPT tunes (93-prx, 91-prx and 91 tow) with n-guage still available. Brand new unopened beadlock locking ring set still available too.
N-GUAGE WITH MPT 93-PRX, 91-PRX AND 91 TOW TUNE. SOLD MY RAPTOR, DON'T NEED THE TUNE ANY LONGER. THIS IS AN AMAZING UPGRADE TO THE FORD RAPTOR. IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT THESE TUNES WERE BUILT FOR THE 2017 RAPTOR. $500
Hello all. Taking offers on a set of 4 2017 Beadlock capable rims/beauty rings and a set of unopened Beadlock rings to make them actual beadlocks. No tires. I am located in Michigan. The lock rings are brand new and have never been installed. PM me if interested. Thanks guys...and ladies...
I realize the for sale section exists. I sold my Rap, I have a set of bead lock wheels and rings if interested. Cali owners, I also have the MPT tunes with N-gauge. PM me if interested.
Started with PC. Great low cost addition. At 5k miles, switched to MPT PRX93 tune, 30k miles later, no complaints. Truck felt flat at the top end with the PC, not the case with the tune.
