Agree, melt the tranny, you don't want to keep that one anyway. They'll fix it then. Along with anything else that breaks along the way as a result. Especially since you have it recorded at two different dealers with no resolution.
Negative on the upfitter switch. They can be turned on in two different ways. Use the supplied push button that mounts in the bed, or simply press the button on the interior cab light switch that turns on the bed light located inside your center mounted brake light. Now that i've said that, I...
I added the lights to my 801a. Super easy to do, and yes wiring is already in place. Just pull the white cap off of the connector and plug wiring harness in.
Cannot remember if you need to take it in once complete and have IDS activate the lights.
Part of what makes MPT so good is the trans tune. Does a much better job holding the gears. Just weird to me that it shifted fine for 5,500-ish miles, then started downshifting hard from 6th to 5th. I'm not into tearing up a trans for no good reason, so makes sense to return to stock, since...
I was waiting for him to chime in

PC is not as quick as MPT, and does nothing to raise speed limiter. PC is quick off the line, but drops off middle to top end. MPT will Redline you through every gear if you...
Different for sure. I have sent an email to MPT, will see what they recommend...will keep you posted. For sure, I would not be happy driving stock without the PC after running the tune...feels like a dog!!
To be fair to MPT, I have not yet reached out to them, but I do plan on doing so. The tune is amazing, and it may only be a glitch with my tune. I'm positive that they will attempt to resolve the issue.
Alright guys, probably gonna eat crap for this...but, I've uninstalled MPT tunes and gone back to stock with the Pedal Commander. After 5,500 miles of running the tune, the truck started to downshift hard from 6th to 5th gear. All upshifts were perfect. It would only make the hard downshifts...
Think you're forcing me to say BUH-BYE oem beadlocks. Already informed my wife that she needs not shop for my Christmas present!!
Just ordered my set, thanks for sharing the pics...Love the look
14,500 miles, MPT tuned, no issues. Headed in soon for my third oil change and tire rotation. Cleaned and waxed it today, SHE LOOKS GOOD and RUNS BETTER!
Been running the MPT tune for somewhere around 6,000 miles now and Average fuel is 14.2 running around town. I've been close to 19 mpg traveling between Chicago and Detroit. SCREW
I completely forgot about this thread. After re-reading it, I too verify that the MPT tune eliminates the "A/C" shudder I would occasionally get at idle. Hell, I did not even realize it was no longer doing it until reading this again. Way To Go MPT!!!!!
BTW, been running the tune for 5 or 6K...
The summary at the bottom of the article states SuperCab. Someone made a mistake in the body of the article. All the dimensions listed were for a SCAB as well.
As I posted in an earlier thread, if you fart on them it will look like you sand blasted them. The softest, most ultra plush, five star rated for a baby's ass rag will scratch the hell out of them. Periodic polishing is the only way to keep them looking decent if you do not wrap them.
