It’s pissing me off more then I initially planned… Hope for yours, and my sake they decide to be upstanding dealerships like the other 90% of the guys who bought post-February purchases.

Just chatted with Ford customer service. The drones tell me that the Raptor is being handed off to the 2nd rail line somewhere in Indiana. Then curiosity got the best of me and started picking their brain on price protection and that my dealer might not be holding true to the order price...

What Stealership was it? That’s some bs. No price protection plus an ADM. F that. I’ll be on the horn with ford corporate so fast to make sure they know why I walked from my order with shady stuff like that! Also, I’d be walk-in… don’t need a Raptor that bad.

I would say 75% of dealers are honoring the original order/sale price. It’s the 25% that’s saying they don’t know how, or won’t, or tacking on ADMs. I’m currently in the boat of pulling teeth with my dealer to honor the pricing.

Caveat to this I should say…having a knowledgeable and honorable dealer helps. I’m currently in a pissing match with mine about staying with the original order price of the truck.

22 orders that role to 23 are not price protected. Ford was pretty clear on that. ‘22 orders in before February 15 are price protected, as long as they still get produced as a ‘22.

How long was it in Shipping status? I spose your location would play a factor. Texas? Just curious tho.

Just got the ford email confirming the truck’s been shipped. ETA still Oct 13-19.

A good dealer will honor the price protection that was ordered pre-February 15th. Any order after you’re SOL for the most part. I’ve talked to 3 departments with the customer support lines. I haven’t tried calling the number listed in the below document I attached. It’s been a hassle...

So you got it at MsRp, but how was your price protection handled? Did you pay what you ordered it at last year, or the current msrp that’s listed on the sticker now?

YES!!! Such bs… I think they’re just playing stupid to pocket the difference. Last time I’ll be using these guys in Nebraska. If they end up not, I’ll be blasting them online. I have no qualms in walking away.

Just wait till you really start to getting the dealership to hold true to the original price you ordered at. I’m currently in this boat. They have confirmed msrp, but not to what I originally ordered at. It’s about 5k over original price. Hope you (all) don’t come across this issue.
