I can't offer any insight but I can tell you I share the same issue. Have not been able to find anything wrong either. Mine clunk hard enough to be concerning but I live with it since I don't have a choice.
At daughter's basketball game tonight and a couple of junior high boys came over just to tell me "your truck is awesome, thanks for bringing it today".
Try sending a pm @Crystal the Ford rep here on FRF. You never know when I needed a replacement shock they were on backorder with greater than a month wait. Once she got my info and had a regional customer service rep call me a shock showed up within the same week.
Let me know when and I will convoy out with you to help you prove your point. Just make sure we find someplace to off road first. Have to drive muddy trucks through there. That way we can make a mess so they will remember the visit.
And I want to register. Darn kids school fundraiser that Saturday night. Thought I could skip it since I have sponsored everything there. But no, somebody put me in as a volunteer for the dinner and games. Wish I knew ahead of time I was going to volunteer. Maybe the next one.
Hope you feel like another sale near the end of the year. Not good timing right now. Need a rear bumper and light bar. Hidden hitch is nice and that bumper pretty much convinced me I need to dovetail mine.
Odd thought but did you check for any rubbing in the front? Maybe a loose fender liner? Probably wouldn't make the noise you described but they do tend to loosen or break some of the clips. They really object if you stuff the tires hard enough lol. Haven't done that anymore since suspension...
Watch joking about discounts for locals somebody might take you up on that, lol. I need a new rear bumper and am close to local too.
Good luck with the dovetail Mike.
I haven't been fortunate enough to go on a run with them yet but I am a member(live in the Midwest so it will be a while). Still doubt they would yell at you. Lowrance provides proven performance in the middle of nowhere and they use them to pre run. Therefore, it makes
sense to require...
Yeah I wondered if anyone would object to them(when turned off) on my truck. None of the police officers I know saw any problem with them. Other areas or other officers might have questions. I did get a lot of waves from all the firemen around here, lol. Volunteer fireman run blue lights in my...
I switched mine to blue last winter. It made a huge difference. Blue cut through the snow with almost no glare. With blue tint I could even run my lights on the light bar above the cab most of the time. Amber is better than white but blue is far and away superior for snow. If I get to do SnoBall...
Velde Ford in Pekin, IL.
Sales department is great. Mike Clausen has handled all my purchases. No BS with price just honest and quick deals. Family owned too.
Service has fixed everything thus far. A little rough a few times but have been good for a while now. Owner definitely makes sure...
My dealer has told me Ford takes these surveys very seriously too. Actually went as far as asking for a chance to make anything right with me before I completed any survey. I had filled one out once when they screwed up. They received "input" from Ford right away.
Good info. Have never taken mine to a scale. Given the amount of gear I carry I would expect similar numbers. Hopefully you get some numbers from others and some thoughts on what if any effect the additional weight might have. So far the only concern I had was what would happen to stock springs...
