I installed 37s on OEM beadlock wheels (beadlock configuration)
With the rear lower control arm adjuster moved all the way out and the front ones at about center, no rubbing.
Also eliminated my wheel hop; tires will spin on demand.
The 'Draw' is just fine if you are familiar with your gun.
Also pictured is the semi concealed position with the seat at the most rear position.
With the seat in the normal driving position the gun is hardly noticeable and with me sitting in the truck not at all.
You can also rotate the gun on...
First I tried just 3M double sided tape, but the magnate is to strong and it pulled off with the gun.
But the magnate also has a countersunk center hole (the cover pulls off) so a small screw keeps it in place and the tape keeps it from rotating.
Just ran across this thread, and been thinking...
Has the transfer case been inspected?
If the transfer case gets wrong/errant signal to shift in to 4x4 the front drive train will start spinning without engaging at the wheels making your noise...?
I hope you like the heat soak at slow speed over rocks with the horsepower and torque disappering faster than a snow cone on an August afternoon in Death Wally...
Yes, you are correct, you evidently are not a automotive/diesel mechanic.
But even if you just have an average US education you should know that diesels have been turbo or supercharged for generations.
Also comparing a turbo diesel set up for slow speed or stationary applications to one for...
The new nut clips that Ford uses uses real nuts, that is good; sadly the way the nuts are secured to the clips causes the clips to split easily allowing the nuts to spin freely.
If you can not find a way to get a wrench on to the nut you have to grind off the bolt head.
Note: Using this nut...
I had the same problem, but I found ways to stick a open end wrench on to the nuts and take the bolts out.
Remove the oil drain window and you have free access to one of the nuts, after removing the front skit plate the next one should be no problem.
No, I did not.
You are very short with short arms (can reach only inches in to the truck bed) so you need a much lower to the ground vehicle, like a Honda SUV with halve its roof cut off.
I'm sorry, but I don't get it...
Honda: tail gate swings out (and from there on it is useless)
Truck: tail gate folds down and by that it is a working surface, seat, table...
Honda: tiny area for storage.
Truck: large area for storage.
Honda with bed cover: tiny surface area.
Truck with bed...
