For the undercoating and to have rear wheel wells Line-x’d was around $1200. Not cheap but done by a reputable shop that takes pride in their work and backs it up.
Also crazy expensive in comparison to a ceramic job you can DIY, or have a shop do.
I did more on this truck than I usually do, but my personal must-do’s are:
1. Tuxmat floor mats (look great, protect and hold up well)
2. Permanent undercoating (obvious reasons)
3. Correction/Ceramic (personal...
Line-X makes a killer permanent undercoating. Had a shop do mine (with a lifetime warranty) and it’s held up great thus far. Had them line-x my wheel wells in the same visit. Cost a bit of money but worth it to have a reputable shop do it, and do it right.
Genuinely curious, why does this pressure seem to be so popular against the recommended 38? Would the lower pressure cause increased wear and a big loss of mpg?
I get around 585, 93 gas. My balance between driving it like I stole it is lower, but I don’t baby it either. Probably 30% “Raptor go brrr” and 70% of driving normally and not letting it downshift if I can help it while cruising. I’ll let my speed drop 4 or 5 mph on hills to maintain it. Sounds...
Sounds like they are a shop to avoid. Had mine done, and dirt doesn’t stick to it any more than the paint or other area of the truck. Washes right off without extra effort.
Just did an 8 hour, 600 mile road trip yesterday and had this happen. Never stopped blowing air, but a couple of time it increased fan speed significantly for a couple minutes for no reason.
Doesn’t really bother me, but I would like to know why it happened
Had my graphics removed, one step correction and then ceramic pro gold and front tint. Recently did the SPV triple fog light kit too, but isn’t pictured
Should the front sensors automatically pop on and beep when your front end gets close to something? I feel like mine don’t and I’m pretty sure they’re turned on
I have the new model Retraxpro MX on my 21, and I have had zero issues with rain. None of these covers will be completely water tight, but I have seen little to no water in my bed so far during or after rain or a wash.
Just installed the Retraxpro MX, and it is worth every penny. I don’t NEED the whole bed really ever, so the 1’x1’ loss of space is worth it to me. If spending $80k on a dream truck, spend the extra few bucks to buy a high quality cover you love. If $2k is putting you in a bind after spending...
Oh I called the dealership and they said to bring it in and they’d replace it. I asked if it would simply be replaced with the same pair of poor quality flares and they said yes. Now I imagine this is different dealer to dealer, but mine was willing to send a complaint up the chain to Ford to...
I have the same issue. Might wait until Ford recognizes and issues a recall or allows color match as a warranty option, no point in replacing them with the same crap that will just flake again and again
