Ok, first off, what lights are you trying to hook up? For the sake of discussion we will assume a 2 wire setup like the square pod lights (BD squadron, rigid dually). The one set of upfitter wires is switched 12vdc from the upfitter switch, through a relay. That connects to the red wire (+)...
That is not how it works. Where is your ground? the one set is simply pass through wires back into the cab. The so called 'hot' side is controlled by the upfitter switch through a relay.

The website shows the Squadron Racers at 3.33a and the squadron Pro at 3.5a, 13.66a total. I agree doable with the minimal voltage drop, but right on the edge.
