I know a lot of you have a "new truck routine" once you take delivery. Clear bra, ceramic, wheel change, etc. Curious what all of you deem as a must do when taking delivery of a new truck (this doesn't include inspection since the sticky thread addresses that). Also, your reasoning why these are...
So the dealer I bought my truck from had a Tremor in AG on the lot. It was dark out but it was definitely a primer-ish grey. Definitely not white. I think it will look great on the Raptor since the trim is Magnetic Grey. The Tremor had body matched trim and it was a little too much for my taste...
Not the truck I ordered but the one that's real. Dealer offered some good terms so I pulled the trigger. Told myself I'd never own another black truck but here we are. Still keeping the Avalanche 37PP on order so I can make that decision later haha.
Haha yeah same truck. I might be picking it up today. Dealer is seeing what he can do on the numbers. He wants $5k ADM but I have an Avalanche on order with him. If my Avalanche comes in I'm trading this thing in for it. I want to insulate some risk of him gouging me on the trade in. Need some...
I confirmed for myself today that the heated steering wheel is deleted. Test drove a customer cancellation. No heated steering wheel. Dealer had no clue it was being deleted.
I keep seeing a lot people start threads about their build date. Wondering if we could get some hard data on the lucky SOBs that are getting scheduled. Trying see if there is any kind of trend.
My credit union just quoted me 6.6% with a 805 credit score. I got 2.5% w/ a 685 credit score back in 2018. This credit union usually smokes other places on rates. No clue what they are smoking now.
The Agate truck on their dock is a 2023. It just came in this morning. Thats why Im trying to work a deal on a trade-in value if my Avalanche does get picked up in a few months. Its a long shot but you never know until you ask.
Trying to see if I can workout a deal with them for a trade in agreement on the Agate truck if my Avalanche comes in the next 6 months. Something to insulate a big loss if my truck gets picked up. I don't want to throw away money. Not sure what my gut is telling me.
So early 23's have the heated steering wheel? I mentioned I really want my Avalanche one and the dealer replied "Well we would keep it and you would still have a chance to buy it" lol mf'ing dealerships. I live in Colorado and don't have a garage thatll fit the truck. Black will be damn near...
My dealer just called me offering to sell me a 2023 Agate 37PP for 5k ADM. 2022 rollover the buyer doesnt want anymore. I have a 23 Avalanche 37PP on order at $0 ADM but have no updates. Wondering if this is the dealer softly telling me he doesn't have allocation for my truck.
All I have is his word that there were allocations available at the time I ordered. Said he doesn't take orders that won't stick. But that's it. He is offering MSRP so I hitched my wagon. Didn't go after orders anywhere else because of it. Kind of regretting that now.
Hopefully Im just being...
Thanks for the reply
Yeah thats why Im worried my order may not get picked up. I don't even have a VIN. I have it with the biggest dealer in the state of Colorado. Placed the order pretty soon after the books opened so Ill try to remain hopeful. Luckily I have a 2018 SCAB to rip around with...
So what is the speculation on the part holdup now? 37pp? blue seats? bed liner? I have a fully loaded 37PP on order since 08/02 and haven't heard a peep on it other than the "confirmation email". Dealer doesn't know jack. I asked Ford Performance if they saw the order in their system but haven't...
so what are the main drivers of production delays? 37PP? Bed Liner?
I know there is no rhyme or reason to why one truck gets put into production and another one doesnt. Just curious.
I have a fully loaded 37PP that has no news since I ordered it in early August.
I dont know how the 2022 owners found their patience last year. Im 4 months in with no tangible updates and Im dying. Dealer assures me there is an allocation for me but the lack of communication makes me think otherwise.
Good luck to yall. Gonna be a long ride
Im dealing with a guy named Taylor. I received my order confirmation but not much else beyond that. He supposedly got my Priority Code changes from 19 to 11. But he is saying its a crap shoot whenever I will get my news.
