probably best to just give ADD a call. Im not a fan of cutting anything myself - went for bolt on bumpers for that reason, but i am a sucker for a nice dovetail.
Welcome! i find myself in alexandria often. Ill be on the lookout now for a nice "new" raptor. Couple of good cars and coffee meets around here as well
different strokes for different folks. I personally dont love the graphics package in any capacity. Im 50/50 on the tailgate. Mine does not have any of it, and my wife 100% doesnt like the tailgate applique, which wasnt a deciding factor but rather just a bonus it worked out in my trucks...
i encountered the IWE grind mid spring. I have a CPO but forwent the 100 deductible for the 20 dollar hose. Most dealerships will have it on hand and it takes literally 30 secs to change out. worth it if it fixes the problem as it did in my case.
the only downside ive read on the falkens is the weight and being e load range - they are significantly heavier than factory. otherwise glowing reviews all around.
I keep seeing Toyo at3 as well as a good option in d load rather than e if that matters to you. Im probably headed in that direction. The ko2s following is strong. I have never had c load range, just e. No real complaints other than the road noise at this point. people claim the ko2s are...
Unfortunately neither of us have had the chance to go blasting through the desert. But we have offroaded a bit on the east coast (camping, trails, beaches), overall comfort was a factor and looks (very subjective I know). Its hard to argue the tech in the gen2 not being superior (similarly hard...
i think its a 10mm? if its not its a 13. should take you about 5 mins, minus breaking the rust loose. try the mounting bracket near the tow hook first. If you need more drastic movement you may need to loosen the clamp where it connects to the muffler section as mentioned above. had this same...
^^^^I think this says it the best. My buddy picked up a blue gen1 long ago and ever since that moment I knew I wanted a raptor. fast forward quite a few years I got into a gen2, which I love and we both admit is the "better" truck of the two. I have only seen the gen3 in passing on the...
OP where are you located? Any decent cars and coffee or members you can meet up with to hear options in person? The online clips arent a great method to hear things overall. Trombone wasn't out when i got my corsa, but i was looking at the 2fg as well. Price is right but i kept seeing...
I have a corsa sport and love it. No highway drone and wife/kid approved on long trips. Not much we can do to make these engines sound "great". I read a million threads and listened to a thousand clips. Landed on corsa and wouldnt change a thing.
I agree 100%. I get the V8 desire, but every time I talk to my Pops about his big V8 getting 11-13 around town and not much better highway, I'm happy to have the ecoboost. Plus I'm a sucker for turbo sounds coming from my import days.
no matter how you slice it, it seems we will never make this truck sound like a "truck". Embrace the turbo sounds and the lackluster v6 and you can get to something better than stock that suits your ears. I went COBB cold air, and Corsa Sport. I went through a million threads, videos, cars...
35 seems low for a max. I know most guys around here are running 38/36 36/34 or somewhere in that neighborhood but the max psi on the tires is usually much higher.
Everything i keep reading points me to either stay stock or go with the Toyo AT3 - its a D range so maybe splits the difference on C versus E? I currently have E KO2s and dont think the ride is uncomfortable, but honestly dont know what the C range feels like in comparison having never ridden...
