I've noticed that in other headlights too. I think all headlights do the same but you notice it more with a projector headlight because of the sharp cut-off of light across the top. I'm not too sure though.

I have had the Raptor claw hood mounts with Vision-x 4.5" cannons (the same package) and I've had them for more than 2 years I believe. The mounts fit perfect, the powdercoating has held up great and I am 100% satisfied with this kit! You can't go wrong here.
