    Because it's the same tube size and the weigh rating of a span is based on material dimensions and span length. I'm sure the super duty axel tube is larger in some way than the f150 tube

    Good news I found the clunk, more good news it wasn't come from the front end at all. Bad news there is going to be some fairly serious surgery to fix it. Looks like it's going to be a long night Tuesday, have to drop the gas tank to get in here and weld on some new plate to fix the ovaled out...

    Check the c-clam splices into the ground connection and any crimps you have, if you had water ingress they could have corroded. Use pins and a multimeter to check connectivity between joints. Push a pin through the cable on each side of the joint and use the meter to check the resistance...

    Welded up a custom exhaust for NE Ford black widow venom single in single out 3" to a turn down before the axle. Installed some splash guards that I made that install on the beam that runs along the front under the headlights to protect the retrofit ballasts and associated electronics.
