Spent about 2.5 hours deep cleaning my interior. Cleaned all the seat covers with chemical guys leather cleaner and a horsehair brush. Then applied a coat of leather conditioner, let it soak in, and then hit it with a light second coat. I love the way that stuff smells.
I drive a race red Gen 2 and if I was getting a Gen 3, I'd want it to be code orange.
I initially wavered on whether I wanted a "loud" color like race red. In the end, I decided it was just me being insecure and I needed to go for it. I liked the bright, vibrant red color, and if that was too...
I'm hoping there's a good reason Ford doesn't do the full drop-down rear glass like the Tundra and 4Runner. Once you've become accustomed to that feature, it boggles your mind how a manufacturer could choose a different design. Maybe it's prone to breaking the glass on tough offroad terrain if...
We have owned a Lexus GX470 for about 5 years. We have really enjoyed its capability and style for the price. It has been super reliable and has almost 180k miles on it. Before my Raptor I had a V8 4Runner. I love the Toyota 4.6 in a mid-size vehicle like the T4R and GX470.
My DD is my 19...
For a $80k+ luxury truck, I am completely over gas mileage. Range I care about. But if I wanted mileage I'd get something responsible that's not named after a dinosaur.
The risk of light theft is negligible enough that I don't worry about it. If it happens (it won't) then I'll file an insurance claim under my comprehensive coverage. Don't weld together an assembly to prevent a problem that will likely never happen.
Thanks for the detailed, experienced-based comparison. It's sad that these threads are always derailed by people shouting FIAT this and WANNABE that. I just like cool trucks. I don't know why the brand of truck they own is like a religion to some people.
Agree--if all other things are equal. Not everyone is comfortable with Forscan. And some may like the styling of one over the other. If OP intends to go rock-crawling, then yeah, get Badlands. If not, then get whichever sasquatch-equipped Bronco suits your fancy.
Not really. Any place in SLC proper is going to have plenty of restaurant options nearby within 5-10 minutes. And there are hiking options to the east near the mountains. The architecture in SLC is really something to see. You could even go as far north as Ogden without it being a terrible...
IMO, if you want a Bronco, there's little reason to go First Edition other than the collectibility. You're gonna pay out the ass for one if you do. IMO, better to go for a Badlands or a Wildtrak (depending on whether you want Rock Crawl or Sport mode as your unique GOAT mode). You'll still have...
Nah, it's not that bad. I just drove back to SLC for dinner on the evening after the course. There are *some* things in Tooele, and you'll have several food options in the part of Tooele that's near the course. It's not a tiny, tiny town. But if I'm traveling I'd rather spend my one evening out...
For what it's worth, I had these same fears. I decided to get mine fixed. I set up a loaner with the dealership a month in advance, and from the day I dropped it off to every interaction with the service advisor I keep repeating, "I am not in a hurry. But I am very concerned that this gets done...
Love your setup. I'm considering the same. I like the stock beadlock wheels. To ensure I'm clear, when you say Deaver (+1) do you mean Deavers that add 1 additional inch of ride height? It's my impression that Deaver +2s give the same ride height because you remove the stock 2" blocks for...
I am not a lawyer, but there's got to be some recourse here for a dealer selling you a vehicle with a condition that they knew about, and didn't disclose, and that issue now prevents you from having recall work done--at the very same dealer!
We are in the boat of having an early Bronco reservation/order that is still not scheduled and does not have a VIN. We got the email asking if we are interested in converting our order to a Bronco Raptor, and we signed up. Will see where this road takes us. Best case scenario, might get to own a...
