I imagine if you shorten the endlinks a little and use the end holes it won’t be as much of a hook. It does hang a little lower than the rest of the stuff down there though
The loosest. Honestly would’ve bought the Raptor specific bar if it wasn’t $300 more than what I paid for the regular F150 one. It’s a subtle but good improvement imo. I wasn’t looking to kill all the flex.
I drove it more today and kind of like it. Takes some pressure off the outside front tire when doing a quick or sharp turn. Also seems to reduce the rear jumping to the side after hitting a bump with one tire. But it still feels like plenty of flex when you go over a curb at Starbucks.
Yeah I know that, I used the end holes just to ease into it. Haven’t driven it much to really check it out or decide if I want more. I just expected it to be pretty noticeable even on the loosest setting since there was no bar to begin with.
I put mine on today. Wasn’t too hard other than fishing the bracket bolts inside of the frame rails. First impressions are that I’m not sure I even notice it all that much. Didn’t change the driving that I can tell. Will see on my commute next week I guess.
I replaced mine at like 6/32 or so and they were squirmy at lower speeds but never hydroplaned. It was more of a feel and confidence thing than anything performance related.
Yeah I’ve definitely only experienced spinning coming out of a dead stop. Everything else in the wet is fine. I’m on my second set. I wouldn’t expect another all-terrain tire to be any better.
Yeah lots of folks getting fresh ones before winter I bet. Probably hadn’t sold much in the last 2 years since folks drove a heck of a lot less in 2020 and half of 2021
Galvanic welding. I had that happen on my Cadillac when a body shop replaced my valve stem caps with stainless steel. The stems were on tpms sensors and aluminum. Broke every one of them After one winter.
