They said they tried but got denied which I heard after that the pump itself came with a 12000 mile warranty that also covered labor apparently but it was up to theme if they wanted to do it. They just didn't want to do it.

I might do this, where can I get one/ part number? I made sure my hoses had very little bends, I even shortened the return hose a lot. This was all an excuse for the dealer cause they know they screwed up an didn't want to pay out of their pocket. ---------- Post added at 04:32 PM...

Just to let you know that I just got declined warranty work on my power steering pump. Their excuse was my wheels and tire weren't stock and not the fact their mechanic screwed up and didn't flush the system correctly. Just a heads up.

I wanted to do Silver Lake this weekend but my truck is up on jack stands with no power steering pump. Dealer puts in a new one and 350 miles later it dies, drained all the fluid and removed the pump to find the fluid full of crap. Mechanic did a shitty job of flushing the system and the dealer...
