Hey, Wondering if anyone out there has experience with direct replacement upgrades to the stock LED headlights. I live in NW MT and 10 miles out on dirt road so I there’s never too much lighting I could use.
I’m planning on putting in Radiance Scene, Driving and Spots (from outside to inside)...
Like Allinon72, I had some ceramic product left over after a couple coats on my rig (Avalon King was my choice). Very little product will take care of your shocks for a long time. They spray off so much easier.
If you come a bit further to NW Montana and hit Glacier Nat’l Park, there are skads of logging roads to blast through. Just need to be very wary of the Montana Pinstriping as we got lots of foliage and trees that love to hug your Raptor along the way.
I’d personally skip the B -pillar “replacement” and just buy wraps. Can get them pretty reasonably AND, the B pillars just scratch anyway. I’ve only got 2k miles on my 19, babied, hand washed and the OEM B pillars show scratches so I’m gonna get good quality sticker, maybe carbon fiber or...
Agree with the 0-60. At 7.4 sec, there is something wrong particularly with 91 octane. I get 6.2 or less sec on 87 octane and better than 6 sec wit 91. I think your 0-60 confirms what the dyno is suggesting.
I agree, it’s overwhelming.
I think its is Worth putting a Ceramic coating on. Requires a bit of prep to get the paint in shape before you apply but not too bad. After a bunch of research, I settled on the Avalon King product and haven’t been disappointed. Very easy to apply.
First I...
My favorite option is the Rigid Radiance Scene lights. I plan on putting the Baja light bar behind the upper grill so didn’t need spots. Each Scene light runs 3k lumens or so; no slouches. You can get the kit with the lights just for the front, or what I’d recommend as you’ll see from the...
As FordRaptorLights above showed, the honeycomb grill inserts look very good if looking for a budget option. Can still see the rad fox shocks thru em. Then if u do lights later, you haven’t wasted a lot of money. If you go with lights, there are 2 or 3 light kits per side versions. I personally...
Sounds a little too good to be true. If it’s the real deal, grab it! I’d ask a lot about how and where it’s been driven. 44k of off road miles is a far cry from highway/city miles. And I’d have a mechanic go over it with a fine tooth comb. Great find! Good luck!
Reportedly, Aux Wire colors got changed part way through the 2018 model year. Late 2018 models have 2019 configuration (wire colors). Also, lots of reports of hot/cold wire bundles in opposite side expected or listed in manual so....trial and error.
Hey all: I’m planning on doing some lighting upgrades on my 2019. Many of the light bars I’m looking at draw 20+ amps yet the aux switches have fuses of 15, 10 and 5 amps for switches 1-2, 3-4, and 5-6 respectively. How are people hooking up light bars exceeding these values? Sorry if a dumb...
