It was Gearhead Tunes that is variable. Have read some pretty positive stuff on the forums about them and kinda leaning that way. There was a very good Tune discussion in the forum from 2017 pretty much ended in 3/18 but I’m sure a lot has changed since then and the tunes have become more...
I’m leaning toward the B pillar overlays with claw marks. I don’t think they’re too over-the-top and give a little pop of color. I’ve got a ‘19 Ruby red, so thought they’d look good. Deciding between Matte or Carbon Fiber background. I know it’s all personal opinion but wondering what ya all...
I’m looking into a tune for my ‘19 SCREW. I’m just learning about tunes, realize potential warranty issue but am still interested. I found a tune with variable octane setting which I like as I can’t get 93 where I live. The following is from the tune info on Gearhead Tunes:
“Perhaps the most...
Multiple attempts to join FRF2 without success. Able to input my info but the final step, receiving an email so I can confirm never comes. Have resent the email a dozen times without success. Yes, I checked to make sure I typed my email address correctly.
Link for the F150LEDS site. Might just ask them:

Very Nice. Not sure which one yet... maybe the carbon fibers ones. Those look great though. I always thought the shiny B pillars are kinda outta place with all the matte aspects on the Raptor already.
Actually, I was wrong on both accounts...I’m batting 1000 for failure... here’s the SR:
Spot-Flood Combo Beam Pattern
This 40-inch version of the SR series features one row of LED lights across its entire width. The LEDs are arranged in a unique Spot/Flood combination that makes the bar...
I may have mis-spoke regarding lense types on these arced Rigid lights. Actually, I think I’m right on the SR version but the SR2 is the following as quoted from advertisement:
“Rigid Industries uses it's patented Specter Optics system in the SR2 40-inch version, lining the row of LED lights...
I plan on getting the Rappy Graphics B pillar overlay (but haven’t decided on which ones yet). Take nice close look at your pillars. They’re always scratched on pretty much every Raptor unless you’ve done something to prevent it like PPF or an overlay. Anyone have pics of an overlay on their...
PS...I found Griots Garage has just a ton of stuff for car cleaning etc. I particularly like their PFM towels/detainers. Just as an aside.
OH, don’t hesitate to treat your wheels to the same love as your paint. Ceramic coating works great on em. I know you can use the Avalon King Armor...
Saw a video on you tube video which I thought was great if not perhaps a bit overkill. There are a few others out there but this one seemed like one of the best. One of the products used was IronX which is a great product. I’ll leave a link here for where I found it the cheapest...
While I agree that even it they went on a minor beater binge in the truck, should be just fine...and I’d seriously doubt a Ford dealership would have this happen. HOWEVER, I went to look at a used Raptor (before I bought ‘19 new) with what was supposed to be 8200 miles and change. They Dodge...
On another forum, someone suggested putting PPF over the light bar prior to installation. I think that would be a banner idea and plan on doing it. Can’t be too expensive, I’d expect.
Did the panels in particular. Product is for plastics and wheels. I also did the rubber...basically everything. Yes, one bottle was plenty. I’ve still got some left so may do a 2nd lighter coat.
Oh, I also did the tailgate plastic adjacent the cover, the black hood plastic, and the front...
The RDS-SR doesn’t come in a choice of driving or spots, etc. My understanding is they use all spots but because it’s curved, you get great breadth of coverage AND distance in one (albeit pricey) package.
To each their own. I desperately need the light where I live and I think Alphatwox pics look amazing. Looks very integrated. Debated the behind the grill S8’s but didn’t want the hassle, and these are less than 1/2 the price, and more lumens.
A cable that’s good for charging isn’t always good for Apple CarPlay. Often having to jimmy the cable in my phone to get it to connect. Ford really dropped the ball not making a wireless connection the standard.
Obviously the cost. If I’m on a lengthy road trip, burning 91 to cruise seems a waste if there’s no harm in lower octane. I had read one tune that accepted a variety of octanes (can’t remember the source) while others it is strongly recommended you use the higher octane no matter what.
I certainly beg to differ but it is purely opinion. Have you actually heard the ATAK system on the Gen2 Raptor? It’s worthy...but again, just personal opinion. The exhaust “note” is very important to me so for me it was worth it. But you are right, its a thousand bucks for sound and if...
I picked up the JLT system for under $140 but haven’t got it yet (backorder). Can anyone convince me why I should spend over 3 times that amount on this dual catch can system? I like a nice looking engine bay but am never popping the hood to show it off to anyone. Is this expensive dual system...
