You want the dealer to pull the cab. The work is easier to get at and you will get a cleaned job. My guys pull cab in 30 min

Takes 40 min to remove the cab it’s more or less plug and play designed for this. TECH TIP: never use impact on body mount bolt even when almost removed fully

Your actually correct, and the timing chain tensioners are fed oil on their backside ( and it stays there pretty well. The chains from all our tear downs haven’t been stretched at all.
