Just use a sheet of reflective Mylar on the outside, tucked in the doors and held by the wipers. Works for sun and ice/ snow in the winter. Had mine for over 5 years now.
I also have Rockblokz and really like them New England winters and mud season hav pretty much stayed off the sides of my truck since I installed them. Easy install and a good fit.
