Only one, no one else has confirmed either way. Just seems that people locally aren’t particularly interested, which is cool, worth a try asking. Not worth beating a dead horse though.
I put pipe lagging around my flag whip, the foam insulation stuff. Stops it from banging against the paintwork and damaging it. Costs about $3 from Home Depot or wherever.
i'll PM you about the band,
a few zip ties to the bed cleats would work fine I think. I can test my flag to see if the nut at the bottom will fit through
St Joe sells flags at the gate ($12 if I remember right) - I made a bracket myself to mount it to a tow hook on my truck. If you don't have a bedcover it should be easy to rig up to one of the bed cleats maybe. You can also buy flag mounts, though mine cost about $2 to make myself.
Aug 17th my...
a buddy and myself are talking about hitting Hillbillie and maybe St Joe again some time soon... any St Louis area guys interested in coming along? Don't have a date yet, depends if anyone is interested in going.
If anyone is interested and hasn't taken their Raptor off road before, both...
According to the cops, someone in a nearby house tried to do exactly that, and the thieves shot at the guy. Lucky he isn't dead, ran back into the house.
appreciate it bud. We already have cams all over the exterior of the house but I parked in a different spot this one time and it happened lol. Will be adding more cameras to the system we already have, so it wouldn't happen again. Just curious really for times i'm parked somewhere else. I've...
So my Raptor was broken into last night... luckily nothing was taken. Am looking at other security measures for the house itself (better lighting, more cameras etc) but am also curious about adding a dashcam to the truck itself, to possibly record something like this, if it happened again...
When would you guys be available to do an offroading day (probably a Saturday would be best)? Could hit Hillbillie and/or St Joe.
I'm not available on the 20th/21st, or the 27th.
Will do, more than welcome to come next time. Tow strap is definitely recommended, I have 2 straps plus some D ring shackles (both of which came in handy when I got stuck in a mud pit on this last visit). If you get a strap, make sure its long and strong enough. Mine is rated way over the weight...
Met up with @N0MAD at Hillbillie this morning and spent a few hours doing the trails etc there. We found a section for some fast runs so got a little video too. Was a lot of fun, both trucks did great, climbed up some tricky muddy slopes and got pretty muddy. I also managed to get stuck trying...
last minute, but @N0MAD and myself are hitting Hillbillie Ranch and maybe St Joe, tomorrow morning. Will be at Hillbillie @ 9am, if anyone is interested in joining, let us know.
Weekend of 15th / 16th, or 22nd / 23rd works for me. We’ll need to decide pretty soon, didn’t get an answer from the other guys so no idea if they’re still interested. If they’re out, and @Micha can’t do 22nd & 23rd, we should just call it the original weekend we planned on (15th & 16th)...
Are you guys able to do the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd instead? If not; when are you all able to? Probably easier if you guys throw out some dates you can do and we can choose one that works for all of us
@N0MAD @Leftsidej @RDFTS
you able to make the 15th & 16th as well?
How many people are 100% able to come? Wonder if we should book camping now or just do it on the day? @N0MAD @Leftsidej @RDFTS
