Not in my experience. I have had cv boots and suspension bushings warrantied with modified vehicles with other manufacturers many times. Its not even worth us conversing because you seem like someone who has an answer for everything and isn’t very willing to change your ideas, (Which is fine)...
You’ve spoken your mind about it and although the cv angles are altered that small of a change should not put enough stress on the carrier to blow the housing apart. You have your opinions I have mine and in my opinion a set of fox Coilovers tested on many vehicles with no issues should have not...
Good luck! Mine blew in dirt and they wouldn’t cover it. I fought for months and eventually they covered labor and gave me parts at “cost” it was a long and horrible process and I still may never buy another Ford because of it. I wish you the best of luck though! Hope things turn out better for ya!
I really want the KHC kit and it will be my next mod most likely. only thing stopping me now is the fact you need the adjustable upper control arms as well. I have the normal camburg arms.
So got it back and it drives straight with a straight wheel. They said nothing was bent. They didn’t end up charging me and the printout did show toe was out. I’m going to say either they forgot to tighten something or maybe I did hit a bump at one point harder than I thought.
Yeah it def is not the death shake. So they called and said the truck is ready. No damage and they said nothing is bent but they’re charging me 30 bucks since they said they could tell I took it Offroad but whatever. I’m going to recheck the torque on everything when I get home to make sure...
Same one and if I have issues again I’ll pay to go somewhere else. No I’ve been on this trail many times and never had an issue with alignment even after some pretty hard jumps/ruts. If anything this time was slower because I was with a group of several trucks and we stopped a lot to look at the...
Taking the truck back to the alignment shop tomorrow and they said they realign and make sure everything was torqued down. I don’t think it’s anything to do with the death wobble as it drives fine and I never had an issue with alignment staying locked until this one alignment. Thanks!
I actually have the sdhq cam alignment tabs but would a loose alignment tab on the control arm effect the steering wheel position? I thought that was more due to tie Rods?
Hey guys! This last weekend I took the truck out to the desert for some camping and offroading. Before going I had installed some SVC outter tie rods and once I was done the wheel was crooked so I got an alignment and it drove straight with a straight wheel. After getting off the trail last...
yeah I can see the appeal of both! I’ve had super crews trucks before and I just personally never needed huge rear seats, never reall liked the looks of 4 full doors and I’ve always preferred smaller chasis. But again obviously it’s all personal choice and any raptor is awesome! If I had kids I...
agreed! I have never once regretted y choice of a Super cab. There are more benefits than just looks for a scab in my opinion. I’ve driven several screws and the extra length is definitely noticeable. Also I’m 6’4” and I find the back seats of the scab are same legroom as a tacoma or mid size...
Thanks to Rick at freedom Motorsports I replaced the gold collars on my fox 2.0 bumps to match the rest of my suspension bits. Something small and stupid but it always bugged me that they were the only part that didn’t match.
I always liked that they took the orange accents so far. All the stitching on the shift boot, and center console and dash, and that they changed the steering wheel stripe color to match. Honestly I think it looks better than the recaro package, although the recaro seats are better.
My truck has a super slight rattle for a second or two only when it’s been sitting for at least a day so I’m not sure if I qualify for the update. I’m bummed cause I don’t want to run out of warranty when it starts getting worse!
That sensor that’s on the battery terminal you posted is the sensor you’re looking for. I would say it’s most likely the sensor starting to fail as I doubt it’s soft set since you haven’t had an issue in all the years you’ve owned it.
Gotta comment again how happy I am with Winfield's tune! Hands down great guy! I'm getting ready to do his E50 tune! Anyone who's hesitating, don't! You won't regret it!
Sounds like a slipping serpentine. Take it to the dealer since you’re in warranty. No reason you should have to change the belt yourself. This was happening on my truck at around 30k. Bought a belt and slapped it on. No more noise!
