Shortly after I took delivery of my Raptor I found this little blue clip on the drivers floor mat. My service manager has no idea what it may be from. Anyone here?
...an "outing" today to check out our favorite camping spot. It's beautiful this time of year but I wasn't willing to Raptor out into the lower meadow for fear of sinking to the door handle. Did snap a shot though.
I think I would rather apply PPF than mud flaps. Just wait till you get stuck in mud or snow and have to back up ....and the flaps get ripped off or bent into the tire.
Something to consider....if the fuel you are buying contains ethanol you will get poorer milage as it reduces the BTU per gallon. Additionally, I would like to see some comparisons of premium vs regular as the Raptor ECU adjusts the engine output for the type fuel it's burning.
Easy choice for me....I don't like dodge and have not for many years (many reasons) but as has been mentioned before. Depends on what you want to do with it. If you want a drag truck ....go dodge, if you want an off road, overland truck then the Raptor.
Given the boost level in the ecoboost engine is controlled by the ECM and the waste gate. I see no end gain in intake mods. A better intercooler is another matter. Lowering the intake temp will help the engine produce more output.
A couple of things come to mind. Poor battery connection...on either end of each cable! Perhaps during assembly something like the main ground point did not get tightened properly or has paint under it. The battery terminal lugs not properly torqued. Positive bus connection not tight. You get...
The recall on my Raptor turned out to be for the wiper motor issue even though my Raptor does not have this recall (per my service manager)

Agreed! Put some protection on the front of your baby. It will peel right off when you get home. Don't follow anyone too close ....especially trucks, just get around and move on. Check this out on my 500+ mile trip to Utah last week. 19 mpg in a Raptor? Unheard of but she did it. Traveled at...
Just to be clear Ramsey, no letter for me so far. I received a personal call from my service manager. I am lucky to have a dealership like this....all local folks and they really go out of their way to take care of their customers.
...that has been my experience. She was really alive during and after my 200 mile cross country Utah run, all in baja mode. I do find it seems to happen faster when using the paddles.
As to how I might be paid...not sure. The conversation from my service manager went something like this: "I just got a recall notice on your truck and technically. We can't even sell you the truck until this recall is done. OBTW, you have a $795 credit coming, take to our team leader for that"...
Just got off the phone with my service manager. He called to ask me to bring in the Raptor for a recall and in addition Ford was paying me a $795 credit. The credit I assume is for the blue cruse prep package. My concern is if this recall is associated with it and if so, do they try to remove...
The old guy says, before you spend a W A D on "upgrades", go run your Raptor. See if you can find any short comings. OBTW.....you looked for a truck that had not been modded because they hold their value much better that one that has been F*cked with.
I come from the days when you bought a...
