Race Radio install in center console front storage tray with cover still operational

Here is the inner tray with cut out for radio. You also see Rugged Radio's universal dash mount. I had to taper the right side of the dash mount to fit the taper of the storage tray. I made a adapter out of 16 gauge sheet metal that bolts to inner tray. Universal radio mount bolts to my...

Race Radio install in center console front storage tray with cover still operational

So, I did a lot of research on this forum along with others. Most seem to install their VHF radios in the center console under the armrest. Not real handy for getting to the controls. Some used remote head units but I’m not a real fan of those. I did come across a few that did mount them in the...

Fender Modification to run 37's with 1.5" Collars

I agree, It is definitely a structural area so I wouldn’t take a chance. I mig welded the filler piece I made. You should be able to find someone to do that for you very responsible.

Fender Modification to run 37's with 1.5" Collars

Thanks for the compliments. I think to get the most clearance you need to do something like this. Also depends on if your upgrading to wider suspension or have super aggressive wheel offset. If not the wider fenders doesn't really help with the real problem of clearance in the firewall/A Pillar...

Fender Modification to run 37's with 1.5" Collars

I did this modification a few months ago. My goal was to maintain the lowest stance as possible. I also wanted to maintain factory ride characteristics. This is my second Raptor, had a Gen1 for 4 years before buying my 2018. After these upgrades I have had the opportunity to drive my truck...
