Controlled by computers. Lol. So old school. Because everyone knows forced induction is brand new and not old school at all.
Everyone knows in the 70's people were swapping in ten speeds and computers.
Going to 4.56 for a 2" larger tire won't do anything to hurt your highway rpms....it would be fine.
With all the electrics involved these days swapping a trans only probably wouldn't be very easy. Or cheap. Not a logical option.
first year is 2.3 eco only, with the 10 speed. Future years may open it up to more engines.
The color isnt bad, not even close to the worst ford color they've done.
What I do like is how they did a good job "Americanizing" the Global ranger for the north american market. Looks better than I...
Yes. Straight lines or low traction isn't the issue. Its the guys who leave it locked driving on the street. Like the guys who use 4x4 on the street. That's how things break.
Its just simpler and easier for Ford to say it's for reliability reasons. Probably some legal reason in there to not...
It's not because there's too much torque. It's because people are morons and are using it in the wrong situations.
They removed the option so they don't have to pay for the mistakes of morons.
The too much torque is just a line to explain it to those said morons.

I know several people who will do bumpers for a full size truck for $400-$600+ depending on what you want. And I'm in Canada where shit is more expensive. Bumper talked about in this thread would run about $500 CAD.
only downside to custom built like that is they need the truck for a day or...
Or get one custom built for half the cost and not have a cookie cutter bumper lol, but to each their own, some people got money to burn so more power to 'em I guess.
