I've done it. it's not hard lol. I used one socket to take off all 4 locking lugs on my truck after I lost the key, could have done them al lif they were all locking lugs in under 10 minutes. super simple if you know what you're doing, and thieves know what they're doing. Locking lugs arent...
4x4 are not supposed to be driven on surfaces that don't have a little bit of slip. Especially these raptors with the fragile IWE.
Don't do it. You WILL break things.
Hey if a thief wants something, silly splined lug nuts arent gonna stop em! They can be taken off just as fast as normal ones all you need is a 12pt socket just barely smaller and hammer it on. Ask me how I know this ;)
also, preaching to the choir about preventing theives. my $15,000...
Always option 3 style for me. This way you arent screwed if you lose that special socket. normal hex shaped that any socket can fit on is the way to go imo.
Ordered a few bottles of the candy cane interior and x-mas detail spray along with a few other odds and ends from the Canadian site this past weekend. Stoked to try the interior spray.
probably wont get to try the detail spray though since it's below freezing now :P but I've got it for warmer...
Yes it's a top secret project Ford is working on. Right now it's like the raptor R was. but this ones actually going to happen and be sold. in very limited numbers.
