Ford does not sell Shelby or Roush Raptors. Those are both entirely aftermarket packages. In the case of Shelby, they’re modified by Tuscany out of Indiana.
That’s why the recall won’t work, manufacturers are not responsible for vehicles that have been modified. Your best bet is to contact...
No communication with the scan tool means the PCM is offline. As mentioned I’d start by inspecting the under hood fuse box (BJB) for any damage, especially Fuse 27. It can melt and damage other fuses in the junction block.
Since that DTC won’t clear, that indicates it’s an active fault. You’ll want to start diagnosis there, it will likely lead you to the root cause of the other symptoms.
There are no sensors for condenser temperature. I wouldn’t bother bringing it in with the aftermarket charge air cooler, they can’t accurately diagnose it without the factory one installed.
The majority of issues such as this are caused by devices and 3rd party apps paired to the system. A few years back there was a phone app called MLB At Bat that customers installed on their phones and it caused the navigation system to lock up 30-40 minutes into any trip.
I’d start by doing a...
Once an engine is has sludge/varnish from poor maintenance there is nothing that can be done to reverse it. Using a high quality synthetic oil will prevent it from getting worse.
The fuel lines require a crows’s foot on a torque wrench to get them tightened to spec. Other than that there’s no...
You can’t just give the dealer a TSB and ask them to do it. They need to verify the concern first and then run OASIS to get the latest version of the bulletin.
Those DTCs are typically the result of sticking VCT solenoids. The most common cause is poor maintenance resulting in sludge/varnish contaminating the solenoid screens and pintles.
You could replace them yourself, it just requires valve cover removal. However, removing the passenger side valve...
HVAC systems moved away from vacuum controls 20+ years ago; the doors are all electronically controlled.
There is a service bulletin for evaporator freeze up on 2021-2023 models; all it requires is software calibration updates to a couple modules.
Looks like a cataloging error.
Ford eCat lists HL7Z-6K682-C as the Right Hand (passenger) side. It is a superseded number from the original HL7Z-6K682-B.
I’d call Tasca to confirm.
Neither the 3.5 nor 5.2 are “tiny” engines; displacement and physical size and not interchangeable. Both are DOHC and have VCT on all 4 cams. The 3.5 also has 2 turbos to feed oil too as well; both require a significant volume of oil to ensure full oil volume and pressure is available to all...
You have DTCs for the primary side of the ignition; P0353 is Ignition Coil 'C' Primary Control Circuit/Open and P2306 is Ignition Coil 'C' Primary Control Circuit Low. These need to be diagnosed first; P0303 is just a conditional DTC from ignition issue.
