You pretty much described my exact problem. I like my dashlights at about 30% brightness for driving at night. When they dim during the day, that makes them unreadable. The odd thing is that before my center screen and camera recall, with my tint, everything worked fine, just like before. It was...
That sucks with it being so new. Hopefully they can get you going pretty quickly. I had my timing cover crack on my '20 with just a few hundred miles. Looked like a bad casting, nobody had ever seen one go like mine. They had me in a loaner immediately and had it back in a week or so.
I actually thought about hiding a little led next to the sensor.
I actually talked to my detail shop about that yesterday and he said that was an option. He did say I would be the only customer who had this issue due to tint. He said he has tons of people with 25% tint, and they don't have...
You would notice it if it happens like mine. If I am in fairly bright sun and it darkens, you really can't see anything. It doesn't just look a little dimmer, it looks like you turned off the dash.
Yes, it's the little dome right near the windshield sitting on the dash. It's really annoying with the lower winter light. It goes dark for a while every time I drive it. It ****** me off that the auto lamps work fine on my beater Silverado with 160,000 miles on it! The camera issue was that...
Sup *******? For the first 6 months or so of having my windshield tinted (only 70%), everything was fine. After the truck went in for the camera issues the auto headlight switch has never worked right since. If the sun isn't pretty direct on the sensor, it thinks it's night and darkens the dash...
Lack of a sunroof shouldn't hurt it. Lots of people, myself included, want nothing to do with a sunroof. It would be a deal breaker for me if it did have a sunroof.
Sounds like you really lucked out! United Road is the name of Ford's secret durability test track for Raptor's. It has a drag strip and a bunch of big jumps. From what I read, once they are done making sure it will not break, they clean it up and ship it, so no problem to have it there. It...
That really IS crazy. In the late 70's I was dating a girl that worked at a Harrah's casino. She was pulling in six figures working a 4 day week! I never knew before that, the kind of money the hot girls could pull in at the casinos.
Nice, Much easier way to upgrade!! Looks good. I looked hard at the Limited, but once the live valve shocks came out, I knew I wanted to get a Raptor. Really glad I did, I love my truck.
I had my valve stems leak oil for a while. Once I drained all the oil out of my tires it was MUCH better.
I haven't seen one person complaining that a dealer wasn't taking care of a cam phaser issue, other than the fact that the dealers may be slow to get it in to work on because they...
I was going to say pretty much the same thing. EVERYBODY'S doors froze shut in a huge geographic area in the last week, no matter who made your vehicle. We went from 51 and raining to near zero in about 6 hours. That will freeze anything that's parked outside.
