That water is on the high end for TDS. From the chart on their website, you would get about 240 gallons of DI water from each batch of resin. If you only used 10 gallons of water for each rinse, you should get 24 rinses. If you are quick, you could get the rinse down to 5 gallons of water...

The resin lasts me about 15 washes, using it for the whole wash, with water TDS about 140-150ppm. How many washes you will get on the resin depends on how much dissolved minerals are in your water. When I first started using the DI water, I only used it for the final rinse. After awhile...

I found the same, that the Wash & Wax has a little less suds, but still provides a lot of lubrication to the surface of the paint. It does leave a nice shine. Most people also report that it makes towel drying easier, since the towel slides better after using the Wash & Wax. Only downside...

How wide is the garage door opening? That support is really deep, and I would think it would only need to be that way if the door was really wide, to keep the middle from sagging down when the door is open. Post a pic of the whole door from the inside of the garage, with the door closed...

Salted Roads - How do you keep rust free?

Another vote for Amsoil MPHD for undercoating. When you do the undercoating yourself, you can take the extra time and spray into every frame hole, and the insides of the rockers. http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f195/amsoil-mphd-heavy-duty-metal-protector-amh-17731/index7.html#post627136 Keep...

Other than a few products getting updates or revised names, only #10 and #11 would change, since the Quick Sealant is not available anymore, so I would use H2O Guard & Gloss on the wheels. You can glaze before wax, or glaze after wax. Glazing after wax would make the wax last a little...

A year to cure? That is crazy. Typically it is 30-90 days. Since it sounds like a show car, I would wash, Brilliant Glaze, then Americana Wax. If it has been in the garage for a year, there should not be any contamination that would need a clay bar to remove.

The Lowrider Seat When working on the lower rockers of cars, my detailing seat was too tall, so I would use the creeper to sit on instead of sitting on the floor, but it was a little big and awkward to move around. So I got another Traxion ProGear Seat and modified it so that the seat is...

That is the problem. I did not notice that was a check valve, just figured it was a swivel. Thanks! Now, what kind of damage could have been done by not having crankcase ventilation? And maybe I missed this in the previous posts, but why does this hose have a check valve? Neither the...

Juggernaut UPR oil catch can (GROUP BUY)

A couple thousand miles ago, I installed it with the hoses connected just like in the above photo, but the thing is dry as a bone. Anyone know why it is not catching oil? I even checked it according to how the previous JLT was plumbed; the hose from the cam cover goes through the filter...

About a week ago, I picked up the new Rupes LHR15II, long-throw random orbital polisher that uses a 6" pad, along with the LHR75E Mini that uses a 4" pad. Put them to the test on a neglected Porsche Boxster. The Rupes polishes have a good deal more correcting power...
