IF you haven't done this yet then shame on you.
I have had several transits with this exact issue and one Super Duty. The problem as mentioned before is the pull/drift compensation feature which is entirely controlled by the power steering control module (which is built in to the rack). You...
Water pumps can leak in such a way that they only leak while the engine is running therefore no puddles on the ground, the coolant reservoir has a hose on the bottom that can leak and be hard to find, turbo coolant lines can leak at the turbo or engine fittings and can be hard to find as well...
It is #4 in the diagram. When they slid the pin out and removed the axles they must have unnecessarily spun the spider gears out. They are a pain to get back in but definitely shouldn't have just been left in the bottom of the diff housing.

Going to need a lot more info to help with what could be hundreds of potential causes. If you want to PM me your VIN I can see what codes are stored in connected data assuming your vehicle is connected.

Very interested. I have Magnaflow mufflers on mine and was thinking of going with the SPD trombone but unsure how it will sound. This product is less than half the price so Im curious if anyone has used this and how it stacks up to the SPD.

It happens constantly. Maybe someone backs into something else and cracks a taillight, maybe someone hits the taillight in the parking lot. Either way what I usually see is the customer either ignores the standing water in their tail light until they have an electrical symptom related to the...
Me too. Im on the Gulf Coast in Sarasota.
The TSB most certainly does apply to your truck. Unfortunately TSBs don't extend warranty so if your truck is out of powertrain warranty it would be on your dime. However, as @Nex said you would be better off spending that money on a cobb accessport...
For clarification, the upfitter switches are wired to non servicable relays built in to the battery junction box. The blunt cut wires that you can tap into as a customer are connected to the switched side of the relays and go through the fuse.
Does the switch turn orange when you flip it?

Sorry but I have to LOL at this. There is so much misinformation about this transmission its not even funny. Without getting into much debate here are a few FACTS that you need to know.
1. Ford doesn't even want the filter replaced during an overhaul unless there is metallic debris in it...
Ford doesn't consider the failure to be detrimental to the durability of the engine. A locking pin shears off inside the phaser unit so when there is no oil pressure like when first starting the engine, the phaser bounces around and rattles until oil pressure is built up.
When I say not...
That very much depends on what you find. If you find some spots with corrosion isolated to one connector or even a section of the connector, usually it can be repaired with a new connector shell and terminal or terminals (ie. a pigtail kit).
If water and corrosion run through a harness it can...
Youre on the right path, and I commend you for taking the high road with it. Just keep in mind when youre at a dealership youre not dealing with "Ford" youre dealing with an independently owned dealership. Also keep in mind Sales and Service are 2 very different departments and in some dealers...
I'm not saying I don't believe your perception of Ford, but I have been at a Ford dealer for 8 years and I can tell you that Ford most certainly will make right on just about anything specifically with F series truck owners, and more recently Bronco and Mach-E owners.
If you haven't done so...
If you have corrosion all the way up at that connector you likely have issues further down the harness. You need to pull codes to see if there is any common circuits or connectors affected as a place to start, and then start checking pin fitment, corrosion, water intrusion, etc. on all the...
Sorry to hear about your situation, it is disturbing some of this type of stuff coming from the assembly plant lately.
In my opinion, I would highly suggest having the truck TOWED to the nearest dealer whether they want to help you right away or not. Being a brand new truck, that is not...
Not quite the same, the IAT2 is built in to the MAP sensor, located at the back of the intake manifold. It measures air temperature after the charge air cooler sure, but its also after the throttle so there is some cooling effect after going through an air flow restriction so its not a great...
IAT is the temperature sensor for incoming air it will not change with an intercooler, the charge air cooler has its own air temperature sensor. Depending on your reader it may be called charge air temperature or charge air cooler temperature sensor.

Theres some weird electrical math going on here and I don't have the time to correct it all. The bottom line is if the 2 lights combined are below your rated fuse amperage then I would go ahead and run it like that. There are already relays wired in to the auxiliary switches so there is...
Feel free to DM me your VIN and Ill run the OASIS report and let you know if the update has ever been done under warranty.
There are a lot of different factors here, one concern is them telling you the radio was affecting the software update. Sure aftermarket components can cause weird...
