Yes, no issue with the connection. I called another dealership Friday and they said they can take a look at it tomorrow. Just continuing to document and share what's going on with it as I haven't seen anyone else with this issues. Perhaps it will help someone later on.
This cooled seat issue...
This is becoming a comedy of issues. Check this video out. Keep a close eye on the auto start stop icon on the dash and the cooled seats button on the center console.
When the auto start/stop turns off the truck (which I can't disable because of the other problems) and then turns back on...
Did a master reset on Sync and no luck resolving the heated steering wheel icon being grayed out. It's almost like the service department disabled the auto start/stop and steering wheel somehow.
I was thinking about using ForScan too. I bought the OBDII connector a few weeks ago but don’t have a laptop to use it with at the moment. Talked to a different service center and they can get me in Tuesday. But like you said it may be as simple as a code reset or possibly PCM reflash.
Pulled it apart and didn’t see anything loose. Took the plug for that button off and re attached and still not working. Weird thing is that it lights up.
Didn’t fix the heated wheel button being greyed out either. Not sure how they are related or if they are but hope the dealer can figure it...
that’s where I got mine too. Salesman has been great but I’ve had several issues with their service center. My other thread about the auto start stop and heated whee not working is the latest thing they broke.
I will this afternoon. Haven’t had the time to dedicate to that yet. Just don’t know how that would also impact the heated whee button being greyed out on the sync screen but worth a shot.
That’s the plan at this point. Just documenting it here if it happens to anyone else. Can’t find any other posts with these issues so I guess I’m the OG.
I just tried remote start and it didn't work... Not sure what they screwed up now and I wonder if it's something larger. The steering wheel button isn't even physical but fails to respond to any presses on the screen. This is insane.
From the video I watched on how to remove the console it looks like a couple buttons share a single plug. I know I can just unplug the cable under the wheel but this is a 2020 and has something broken so obviously it should be fixed.
ALSO just noticed I can’t turn my heated steering wheel on...
The auto start stop is On and I'm unable to disable it with the button. The back light doesn't work either so it has me thinking they didn't plug something in right when they replaced that trim piece.
I've had it with the Service Department where I bought my truck from in December. Had them investigate some CarPlay issues and they removed the center dash trim, chipped it in 3 places. Waited a month and a half for them to figure out how to replace it. Got it fixed yesterday and now the button...
Thanks, my question was more directed towards using the EXACT fuse that the DRLs are tied to so the backlights come one when those do, not just when ignition is turned on. Wondering if the DRL fuse #/location is known.
This is excellent! @4x4TruckLEDs.com
Quick question. Are the Amber DRL's fused, and does anyone know what fuse it is? Meaning could we tap into THAT specific fuse so they come on when the other amber lights are on? (since they aren't on all the time).
Do finally got it replaced today. Here is the official part number on the service receipt.

Not a cheap part. Luckily they covered it.
Haven't turned it off myself. I actually think it's kind of cool they can "enhance" the sound of the exhaust especially when wide open throttle but the noise canceling helps keep any drone down. Pretty neat. I love the sound and don't feel it's artificial, just enhanced.
Yeah this is more about how mine isn't staying hot. It heats up then goes cold, not warm, again for a while. It's in the dealership for a separate fix so having them look at it today.
I have a '20 but it has a slightly different tick that the dealer tells me is normal. Sounds like someone put a playing card in the engine and it's hitting something like you would on a bike wheel lol!
