I ordered it right when the 2024 was announced and they wanted $10k over, like the 2023 I got from them, which at the time I was fine with but. When it showed up he told me they would do MSRP.
That's literally the truck I ordered.
I had no idea it was even being built.
My sales guy left the dealership and I got a random phone call Monday "Hey your Raptor R is here". Well my 2025 is being built 12/16 so I'm going to wait for that one.
Do we need to option the Door Keypad? I told my dealer to add it, but I don't see it on the order summary or the Ford tracking page.... It is an option on the Ford Builder, but I know that isn't always accurate.... Any insight appreciated.
Stuffed the bumper three weeks ago at low speed on a ice/snow bank.
That jump was last night, no damage or issues. I've done it in two other Gen 3's and a TRX with no issues.
Oil leak?
At least I already have my R... well I don't have it right now, the dealership has it again o_O . Two oil leaks that have been fixed, but the front diff housing cracked last weekend. Hmmm maybe a stop sale isn't such a bad idea.
Seems like some of these trucks are seeing some movement now. For what it's worth R #2 for me went into production on Jan 3rd, and has been there every since according to the tracker. Dealer told me it was at off site storage that whole time, but released today to transport.
For what it's worth oil leak #1 took 25 days to fix, and oil leak #2 took 4 days to fix.
Yes. Meant to update this.
Only took a few days to fix oil leak #2. Part was there the next day. It was the exact same issue, crank seal.
Dealer #2 believes dealer #1 installed the replacement seal...
@Stormtrooper - How stiff are the rears? Stiffer than OEM you think, or just a lift?
I have a topper going on my R next week, ARE CX Revo. Considering the rear Eibach springs to help keep the truck at stock height. I wonder how much weight it would take to bring those Eibach rears down to OEM...
My R is leaking oil for the 2nd time.
First time was the day I took delivery. Truck spent 25 days in the shop, the crank case cover and seal was replaced.
I got the truck back on March 19th. I put 2k miles on the truck in a week and we're leaking again. Dealership is diagnosing it now.
