Our great trail leader took us on the Bitter Springs trail yesterday. Not only a great trail leader, but he obviously paid to have wild horses visit us on the trail. Who knew Vegas was not all lights and strippers? Great job John, and thanks for some great trail rides. We head back to Moab...
John took us on a great trail just south of Valley of Fire State park. The "designs" in the rock were amazing and the color great. The last place showed how dirt had covered the orange rock. Great day with a great trail leader.
I am afraid the back way will be closed soon. They are doing a dinosaur state park there and I assume they will monitor the entrance, especially since they instituted the reservation system for the park.

Then we did Rainbow Canyon, which is a pilot training canyon. Very cool The nickname of the canyon is Star Wars canyon. It was a great, but expensive trip.
Just got back from 4 days in Death Valley. Went with our friend in his built Jeep. On the way we did Titus Canyon. That started with some high speed desert running and then descended into the canyon.
