imo it looks off in pics but way better in person, very metallic'y. Saw a ranger on the lot with it, looked good. Just weird how it doesnt look as good in pics.
Yeah the poly urethane on mine mostly covers it but its still somewhat visible.
Love mine tho, can fit tons of gear in the truck and can even have some poke up into it no issue.
And can take jt off in less than a min for offroading or just need it off.
Had it for about half a year and every...
on the jenny im running the cooper xlt at3s, E rated, but not that much stiffer than the C K02s.
Pretty quiet so far with 5k miles on them, balanced at worst with 3.5ozs and hook up pretty well on dirt. Rain seems better than the k02s, but i dont really try to spin them in it.
Brother ran nitto...
BD LP4s installed, a bit bigger than i was expecting, almost look goofy looking.
Waiting on some chase lights and wiring from SPV parts to finish it up.
imo t-case is the easiest to do, front diff isnt bad either.
Also odd, my rear diff has been pretty clear when i changed it, but my tcase was pitch black though before 40k.
I was also lookin at the amsoil gear oil, but doesnt that stuff have friction modifier in it? Afaik the gen 2s dont need...
buddy of mine has an rv that has solar panels on it that charges its lithium battery to power stuff on it w/o needing the engine. For a raptor not sure, maybe w/e you put in the back or power to the battery thru some cables. With the limited space i dont see it powering too much
I did it on my own, spent like $150 and only extra time spent was doin a light polish before applying, only hard part was telling when it rainbowed in certain light. I still got some lines and swirls (minor), but im not cuttin into the clear coat too much to remove them, plus its hard to see on...
You lucked out, the 19-20s ride stiffer, but no, the 19 and up trucks have the electronic shocks that can be changed on the fly per say. I thought the same as you and when i got my 20 coming from my 18 i was like, the hell is wrong with my shocks?
As for your shocks not entirely sure, but you...
If it has an accident theyre asking too much, even if its minor. Id use that to negotiate a lower price. Your resell, if you plan to, will take a good hit.
Why is it not Gold Certified? Fwiw i got a 2020 with lower miles around that same price back in july, and now these trucks seem to be...
personally i miss the SVT badges. Never was a Ford guy per say, but loved SVT, when you saw SVt you knew it was some good shizz.
Nothing wrong with Ford performance trucks/cars though.
i had that phase in highschool, was terrible. At first it looked cool, but then you realize its kinda silly hurting light output.
Lucky with HID/LED stuff you can make the backside black and keep the front clear so you kinda get best of both, and raptor comes with it off the bat.
yeah theres one on the lot an hour away, tryna find an excuse to go there and slap my ass on there.
Other issue is just tryna find them in general, seems like from ford its ridiculously expensive, and on fb and ebay theyve been nowhere to be found
So i dont really like braums seat brackets, theyre not by them, its by planters or w/e, but on the lightning they dropped the seat height a bit and it was an absolutely pain getting them on due to clearance.
Ive debated it, but kinda holding out for finding the oem recaros so the dash doesnt...
For a bit now ive been experiencing discomfort in the seats. Bottom feels almost worn out flat when sitting, but seems fine when i press down with my hand. Lumbar support seems to dig into my lower back even on its lowest settings.
I love this truck, but man long drives and even sometimes short...
