Bumped an old thread. Brings back good memories, thanks!
What's crazy is the inflation after Covid for this same type of trip with BRR is now $8500
Think this was my last Baja trip since as the next year in 2020, I rolled my GEN1 Ruby Red.
I WANT TO GO BACK!
Here is the video of the BRR 2019 trip.
I had Ravelco installed in my GEN2 and noticed if you try to start it with the plug removed that if you ever scan the truck for codes, it will have a few about not able to start that you can clear. It does not leave a check engine light. They gave me two plugs but I was worried if for some...
The kit from Deaver or ICON is sold with the bolt included. I see that you can get the ICONs for $1100. Yeah cannot touch that. We need to stay in business for atleast another 10 years. ;-)
I had my GEN2 done in Stealth on Oxford white. Yours looks to being done a LOT better than mine. Don't think they took any trim off except for the side mirrors. Looks like crap with the edges since they used pre-cuts. So curious, what is that costing you? Mine was a little over $8k.
It doesn't change or affect the torque, that stays the same. It modifies the pedal response and removes the lag so you get a faster response when you press the gas pedal.
We sell them and I have been running one on the shop raptor for over a year. I also have the Ford ESP 7yr/125k warranty. It’s pretty tame compared to the Pedal Commander that was on the GEN1. No mechanical issues or glitches to date and doesn’t interfere with some radio frequencies that can...
We sell them being a RPG vendor on FRF for nearly 10 years (and offer members some discounts, hint hint). Just sold the full set to @Sitdown so perhaps when he gets them installed, he will post pictures. He got the Fox Orange.
Lots of threads on it. Saved my bacon a few times. I did have the harness that is on the passenger side in the engine bay that runs down behind the engine come off the firewall and burn on the exhaust, put me into limp mode and sucked since I was off-roading that entire weekend...
Little stuff but it was actually too cold to be applying stickers so took about an hour with a hair dryer to get them to stick. The front Ford has been on awhile from Rappy Graphics but the flags in the headlight area and all the rear decals was from Rocky Mountain Graphics. Like Rappy’s better...

I personally run the Method Trail Series with Beadgrip. Allows you to air down more than a traditional tire and get the performance close to a beadlock tire. I have always ran KO2's in the desert and not any issues. The BFG's run small, as the 37 is actually 36.4
We sell both and can actually...

I know this isn't the Lowrance but here is my setup. Extremely sturdy, doesn’t move at all. Have an ipad mini with cell wifi. I don’t have cell coverage subscription but this model has GPS functionality. I do pay for the AT&T wifi for the truck and have the ipad connected to that. Not in my way...

I can sell you one and provide some FRF member pricing, but we don't have any laying around ready to ship.
If interested, just send me a PM and we can go from there.
The stock exhaust will go through it but it's tight and tends to hit, plus the leaf springs can hit too.
On an ICON RXT kit, I highly recommend the MBRP turndown that dumps before the axle. That is what I ran on mine and have sold plenty of them. It sounds great. Do you plan on going off-road...
Can also say tires get chewed in Baja. Granted this was on a GEN1 and KO’s but the tires were brand new when crossing the border. Also carry an extra air filter. This was from a trip all the way to Cabo
