Same reason I didn't get the recaros, harder to clean and not the best material for a daily driver as it starts to show it's age sooner than I would like. It's great on my STi as it keeps you from slipping on the seat. But I don't think the Raptor will be going around corners the same.

I do it for mine, it's an expense that the business pays to the credit card company. That 2-3% taken per transaction is money that the business never sees, if it was not deductible the business would be paying tax on those 2-3% that never hit their pocket in the 1st place.

I know some dealers will take the hit of the fee since it's a tax deduction for them at the end of the day

Even if you invest a small amount of that money it can go a long way if you play your cards right... Just look at what pg&e's stock did today :cheers:

Ordered mine 10/30 no pull as of yet, but my dealer was told ~6 month wait. So not expecting to get pulled till sometime in February realistically... but I still call Ford Performance every few days

True I guess it depends on the dealer, my local dealer said it would be perfectly fine. I know that's how alot of the local businesses buy their company trucks from them so I guess that helps.

If you pay cash you can always pay with a credit card that gives you rewards, assuming you pay it right away obviously. Say you get ~80k points from it, you can use it towards your monthly balance so ~800-1k less you need to pay. Or you can redeem them in other ways making it worth a few...

After sitting in a truck with it and without. It was a must have, it's a new truck with warranty as well. I wouldn't be to concerned about it. I would go to a dealer, find an f-150 with and without it, sit inside and judge for yourself if it's worth it knowing the possible issues that may come up.

One dealer tried to have me finace through Ford at a 7% rate, but I can get a 2-2.5% through BOA. If you can't secure a low rate then definitely pay cash, if the rates go up by the time my truck gets here, will definitely pay cash. That sucks that some dealers only let you finace through Ford

I would also reconsider paying cash, if your credit is good you might as well try to score a ~2% interest rate while you can. If you're able to put the ~80k to use in some form of investment

From my experience, cash only helps the dealer know you're very interested and willing to take it home that day. The dealer still gets paid at the end of the day no matter what. Just depends if you pay them or if the bank does. So cash may only help take off what they were willing to take off...

Should be the same as any f-150 steering wheel removal, you will just have an extra connection for the paddles to undo. I believe once you get the plastic covers off, the screws holding the paddles will be visible. 1st step with the battery is very important! Don't overlook it!

I have been running JB4 on my N54 motor bmw and it has been amazing (That car should be making close to 800whp soon). Great product and amazing customer service, I would expect the same for the raptor. They roll out updates and new features all the time as well.

Ddpt, mine is an SCREW, no recaros or beadlocks, but CF package. Just to fill in some of those blanks
