I’m surprised the Jb4 isn’t more popular for this reason alone. It’s a piggy back tune, when it comes off there’s no trace. Yes technically the dealer might be able to see logs with higher boost levels than normal, but for the most part the dealer won’t know it was ever on there.
N54 was always DI, but I added PI to help with fueling as running close to 550whp now and soon to be 800. Stock injectors only do so much and they do help keep the valves a little cleaner.
Can still happen depending on how much blow by they have. Especially since our motors use both port and direct injection there isn’t as much fuel being fed through the port injection alone to keep them as clean as they should be.
My N54 has both port and direct injection, it has helped a lot...
The only must do mods IMO:
Catch can, will catch majority of oil before it gets into your intake and gunks up your valves. Will help your engine perform better in the long run and possibly eliminate the need for an intake cleaning down the road.

Absolutely love them, I was on the fence about them but decided to order them anyways. Very comfortable and supportive, makes the interior feel as nice as the truck cost. Only have 600 miles on my truck so far but doing a 9 hour road trip tonight so let’s see how comfortable they are.

I have only test driven a 2018, but my 2019 feels much more solid not as floaty. The 2018 felt like it would hop around on certain bumps, my 19 doesn’t although it’s a bit stiffer overall. There is minimal roll in the 19 when you corner compared to the 18 and the transmission is MUCH smoother...
