Took me longer to get the truck out to the strip. Stock it did a 14.5x, map 2 on jb4 did a 14.2x.
Went again this week again with an e20 mix and the truck went 13.47 on map 7. Bone stock besides Jb4. Both days were very similar with about a 7-10mph headwind.

Such a big difference in temperatures, the stock intercooler is terrible. The truck was so gutless one day I thought something was wrong till it occurred to me to check the intake temp since it was so hot outside. Iirc it was 160-170
I bought an eBay intercooler for my bmw 335i, it was exactly the same as a vsrf intercooler, but instead of 400 it was 200. Lowered intake temps just as much as the VRSF. Does a good job of bringing down temps, not the best out there but it’ll perform the same as the mishimoto and for the price...

I was surprised when someone waved at me from another raptor. Had an STi before and before I traded it in the area was flooded with wrx’s, I was waving every 5 minutes. I’ve had people wave in the raptor, high beam, Honk... hell I had one guy do all 3
Better leaf springs, icon would be my 1st option. Everything else i see the coating flakes and they rust so fast.

@doba_s I am planning on tracking this upcoming season, was busy with school and work for years so this is my first track season. Also finally got around to building my car. The username comes from track bike racing when I was younger and it stuck. Still applicable as I transition to tracking...
@Cdcorn1 Ill do the same mix and take it to the 1/4 so have a reference point compared to other tunes, then will throw some bolt ons after like turbo adaptors, downpipes, charge pipes, meth kit etc.

I'll be relying on 1/4 times to rattle the cages, so many perks to the jb4 that people overlook. In the next couple weeks I'll try to make it to the drag strip with a stock truck on just a tune. Then with some e20-e30 in the tank.
JB4 on the way, use it on my n54 with great success. I feel like people are overlooking the jb4 for the raptor, will get dyno runs and run it down the 1/4 to see how it performs.
It’s down to the metal unfortunately. The shop I’m taking it to basically only does high end super cars so they’ll be able to make it look like it never happened. Still such a bummer to deal with.
That’s always a risk, but there’s many precautions I take to minimize that. Nothing has happened to me yet so fingers crossed. Been going it for 3-4 years now, risk is definitely worth the reward imo.
