I have it setup like this on my truck and with the forscan changes you are just using the parking lights as the DRL so the side markers, license plate, etc are all on too. No way to just turn on the front ambers and grill.
To me it's a giant waste of money as you'll never see it or have it sound that different on a TT6, but if you are spending $120K on a $70K truck, what's another $5K on an exhaust?
Yes Raptor brakes are the same as a regular F150.
You can enter your VIN at https://www.tascaparts.com and it will list parts specific to your truck if you want to confirm.
There are companies that sell upgraded rotors/pads (I assume you don't want to spend $3K on big brake calipers).
Did the previous owner extend the warranty? If the dealer is making it right for you for free I'd take it and be grateful as they are under no obligation to fix a used car they sold you out of warranty for free.
$5K off is a decent deal which is pretty close to invoice, but not like you are bending the dealer over a barrel or anything. They make A LOT of these trucks now it isn't 2017 with ADMs all day anymore.
They are likely going to make more off of your trade in than the new truck as well which is...
Any shop can install lights nothing special about the brackets and wiring. Why not do it yourself? Plenty of tutorials on youtube and you'll save some $$. For example:
This is the hardest one. If you can do this the reverse and fog lights are a cake walk.
What are you using the truck for? The Raptor is significantly faster everywhere and better off road, but if it will never see dirt the Tundra has better payload and tow ratings.
Tundras are definitely in need of an update. I would not buy a new truck in 2020 with an engine from 2007.
Less than 10% of gen2 Raptors are scabs although you're going to see a higher percentage on the forum since it more likely to be ordered by the offroad enthusiast type. Personally think lower resale (beyond the $3K msrp difference) and harder to sell are hogwash assuming it is 802a.
The screw...
I'd take it offroad stock first before you start spending money on parts. The stock setup is pretty capable no real point in upgrading to 3.0s if you aren't better than the stock shocks and only going a few times a year. Same goes for $2K front bumpers there are all kinds of kits that fit in...
If you can use a wire stripper/cutter you are good to go. The connections can be wrapped together (lineman splice) and heat shrinked - no special crimping or soldering needed. Agree that it will take you 4+ hours your first time.
I ceramic coated my own truck for like $300 which included Cquartz, M105/M205, HF polisher, and some kit from car pro that included a bunch of pads and other stuff needed.
I had pinstripes from offroading I corrected at the same time. The ceramic coating does make the dirt come off easier...
Tech package is standard equipment now and as mentioned no moon roofs on SCABs.
I think your trade is in "low" because it's a less than two year old vehicle with 35K+ miles on it. I would extend the warranty and keep it. Next year might have newer suspension stuff, but they aren't changing...
I've done Jeep trails in the Raptor and imo it is too wide for it. The truck is made for bombing off road prerunner and style not crawling at 2 mph while you dodge all the trees on the sides of the trail. My paint was super scratched even after a couple of hours.
Carvana bought my last car and it was straight blue book clean trade in value. $6K more than Carmax offered. They came and flat bedded the car away and handed me a check right there very easy vs dealing with tire kickers (which you will get a ton of with the gt350). My state doesn't do the tax...
If you have bajas or rigid they are way too bright to be run with traffic around unless you have the SAE versions. The backlights on the rigid radiance or similar can be left on. I have KC flex with amber cover I have used in bad weather on the streets and never been flashed.
And price..the S8 kit is $900 vs $250 RC. Almost four times the price. The RC is IP67 the baja is IP69, 12000 lumens vs 19000, 3 vs 5 year warranty so not saying baja is overpriced. At the end of the day lights do one thing and that's light stuff up so on a budget RC fits that purpose.
Now...
From your questions I'm not sure as though you understand the purpose of this light? It is to run ambers that you turn on via the aux switches so that people behind you can see your truck when driving off road. If this is not what you are buying it for then don't buy it.
1 - Not really imo as...
The Raptor engine/tranny is rated to tow ~10K lbs in the Limited. There is a guy on here that modded his screw to tow an airstream trailer so the potential is there. Depending on how often you are trailing the Bronco you could just rent a tow vehicle. Realistically though a SCAB Raptor is not...
Fuel capacity for sure could mean something to you at 23 vs 36 gallons. Towing is low for both 6-8K is still less than most regular F150s. Resale will be lower bc MSRP is $3K less, but certainly not "pissing away."
Having driven both, scab handing is better as the truck is a foot shorter...
No, the Raptor is a truck and drives like one on the streets. If you actually take it offroading then yes that is a fun driving experience you can't get with many other vehicles, but not in the same way as a sports car.
I had an AMG that I sold because I couldn't really use the speed anywhere...
Here's an old thread with lots of info on near invoice deals for gen 1 so going to disagree with the last year still being $10K over MSRP (You also said your 2014 was $1K over):
https://www.fordraptorforum.com/threads/raptor-dealers-selling-near-invoice.18117/
I don't think you'll see a V8...
Reading Outdoors is next door to Rausch Creek and has some wide open sections (it's coal mining land and you can drive in the areas they aren't actively using). You buy a permit and can drive around their land whenever you want (watch out for ATVs/dirtbikes though) https://readingoutdoors.com/...
A new one has zero miles and you are the only owner of it. That matters a lot to some people. A new one would also have the full warranty whereas a 2018 would be half gone by now. 2019 has the better suspension as you are aware.
If the above does not matter to you then yes there are savings...
I know you are [mostly] joking, but OP posted an update stating it is a fake address belonging to an elderly couple.
The real scam is that dealer selling it for $133K. Absurd. $20K ADM and still added on another $8K for labor.
