    Exhaust combi

All the cat backs sounds similar to the Ford Performance/Borla and that will get you the most sound improvement over stock (while keeping the resonator). Deleting the resonator can make it sound super raspy - something people like it, some don't. Sounds like you're in the latter camp.

    Pads and Rotors Recommendations

My OEM pads were down to the metal at 45K, but I had 12+ offroad events on them too. Not surprised if you are doing mostly highway or no offroading they could last a long time.

    Pads and Rotors Recommendations

Did the powerstop Z36 and they are great for the price - $500 vs. several thousand for Alcons.

Rough/wobbly over bumps and potholes, potential bump steer. Is this normal? What to do?

You said you replaced your front shocks 5K miles ago did they put on fresh strut mounts too? I tore the rubber out of both of mine so the shock was moving up and down a little when going over bumps. Probably not your issue, but take a look next time you have the hood open.

Will my 2017 SuperCrew Raptor fit in a 6’8” parking garage?

Leave the antenna stock and if it twangs off something then you know to be cautious. I hit the bedside of my truck in a parking garage once because I am a dummy so I stay out of ones that aren't 7' or more too annoying to get around in

    Raptor Bed bolts

I'd like to thank the spammers for bumping this two year old thread, but I can once again confirm that my bed has not fallen off yet despite reusing the original bed bolts four years ago.

    Replacment Headlights for 2018 Raptor?

You can't replace the LED bulbs in the stock units hence the brighter units being the whole thing and costing $1500+. You might consider a fog light kit with SAE/DOT pods for use on regular roads.

Should i upgraded from 2018 Raptor scab to 2023 Raptor 37 package?

Sort of with the 2019 nearly all trucks had the $9K 802a option and tech package ($1500) which you don't need to add to the 2023 as they're standard...inflation also 20% over the past five years too

Should i upgraded from 2018 Raptor scab to 2023 Raptor 37 package?

Are you offroading? If not, are 35s not enough to get over the drive through curb? Do you like the suicide doors or would you rather have regular ones? If you're going to use the additional functionality of the newer larger truck it would make sense.

    Single Spare Bed Carrier Setup

You want Mopar 05170492AA - it's what I have in my bed. You just have to grind the center a wee bit to get the bed bolts to sit flush again. https://www.getoemparts.com/oem-parts/mopar-ring-retainer-ring-5170492aa

    Miles to Empty

You can go 20+ miles once the dash says zero miles to empty. Couple youtube vids of "how many miles past zero" in regular F150s and they end up with 30-50 miles so figure the raptor will be slightly less.

2018 Raptor - New To Me - Rattling Startup?

I believe Flood Ford only offers plans for vehicles still under the factory warranty or near it. You can try Ziegler - you'll have to get an inspection at a dealer too (since you are outside factory warranty).

Pill: Sell truck as is or or take parts off

If you still have the stock parts and are capable of swapping them out yourself seems like a no brainer to me. You think control arms add $1500 of value with regular front shocks?

Flood ford ESP, buy now or wait?

6/60 is pretty low unless you are hardly driving the truck. 8/60 is only $300 more. Do Zeigler or Flood over the dealer. 7-8/100 is the sweet spot for daily drivers imo.

    Gen2 Trade in Value?

But why? They don't have to sell you a vehicle if they think someone else will pay more for it. How many Raptors have you bought with this method...Gen 3s are still over MSRP in many parts of the country... OP you might get more going private party especially with those mods, but you have to...

    Finally happened. Truck got boosted..

How was yours driven away vs. the other guys' just being broken into? Was your key in the truck or you think they made a new FOB?

    How many being built?

I could have been clearer total meaning across the entire gen2 run, 1500*4 = 6000
  18. realjones88

    How many being built?

No there weren't. Why do people keep quoting this number? The guy says in the very next post that he made the number up https://www.fordraptorforum.com/threads/number-of-raptors-produced-for-2019.77290/page-2 If you figure 5% of the gen2 production being scabs, it'd be 6000 or so gen 2 scabs...

Number of raptors produced for 2019?

Again, Ford doesn't release this information. The person who posted performance blue "numbers" said he made it up in the very next post...

    SHOCK TOWER CRACKING

Ford recommends rebuilds every 10K if you are heavy offroading (and 50K if not). If it's been awhile the tower metal has been taking a beating if the shock is too worn out to work properly. I would weld a plate in too.

Life for original set of brakes

My pads were down to the metal at 40K, but I do several offroad events a year too. I went with the Powerstop kit with rotors. The Alcon braking video definitely shows improvement over stock and are no they are doubt better than Powerstop, but not worth their additional $3-5K+ cost to me.

For those that went to the Darkside (TRX)

All the people I've met so far that have TRXs are happy with them, but they were also all gen 2 owners or had never owned a Raptor. Anyone trading a gen 1 at this point is doing it for tech jump and no one is trading a $20K ADM gen 3 for an under msrp TRX. TRX is better than a six years older...

    Recommendations for new Brakes?

Is there actual data for braking distance vs. stock for the Powerstop z36? Or is more like well you're gonna spend a couple hundred on stock parts regardless so you might as well get the slightly better ones? The alcons looks great, but are $ (and potentially needing tie rods too), so the...

    CAI (cold air intake) fitments

If you just want more sound the AFE drop in filter will give you more noise than stock. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/afe-31-10162 Many of the "cold" air intakes still use the same hood inlet connected to a new box/filter so not sure where the cold part is coming from...there are some open...

GJ Motorsports 3rd Brake Light - Opinions Wanted

Sports are more than enough the pro are too bright imo They are really far up there...much higher than you'd think. Mine were taped to one of the wire cables that goes into the fuse box - could barely see them.
