It’s not super common. I am not worried about it happening again. Certainly not worth selling a vehicle over.
fwiw I bought my old 2014 with 35k miles and a leaky strut and ford replaced it no questions asked. Glass claims are just a bitch
Had my sunroof explode earlier this year. Same thing - sounded like a shotgun. Truck had 5k miles on it - ford told me to pound sand. Since there is always deniability around foreign objects causing it, they deny the majority of these claims
Sunroof is dumb - wish I didn’t have mine. Shade...
Exactly. If an upgraded intake does provide noticeable gains over stock and filters better, I guess I’d consider it. But 20-30 crank HP in exchange for worse filtering isn’t worth it IMO. Sounds like of everything either the volant or Cobb would be the way to go if superior to stock in filtration.
I wonder if they changed the approach because of this. When I was there they limited the approach length. You’d be lucky to hit 40 unless you popped the truck into 4 hi
Yes being in a vehicle with only one other person all day (not a group). Both of us wore masks, both did not fly to get there, had no fever, etc.
Even if he was asymptotic, the viral loads of asymptomatic individuals are lower than symptomatic and he had the mask.
I felt he presented minimal...
Reading is not a strong suit for you. I wore a mask all day. As did my partner. Both of us were local with minimal exposure. No flying. I drove 8 hours to prevent getting on a plane
I will continue to do my part to limit the spread of this and my own exposure. But I’m not hiding in a cave for...
I definitely respect your call. It’s certainly not a socially distant situation. But it was pretty great. As for the trucks, they didn’t really assign team mates. Everything was loose on that front, so you could pick a partner who is not a dumbass in the briefing prior to heading out
When I went at the end of May both of us in the truck wore masks. What we didn’t have were sani - wipes, so at the end of the day we kinda figured if one of us had it we both did. That said, nearly everyone in the class drove so exposure was limited. RA also took temps and did social distancing...
my ceramic provider specifically forbade me from using any sort of carnuba wax (any wax in general) with the coating. Surprised you waxed over your ceramic?
One thing worth noting though - if you go to a car wash that isn’t touchless it may void any warranty provided by the ceramic folks. I had to change where I had gone in the past due to this.
I think it’s worth the cash to have it done professionally - especially at around 1500 bucks. Generally that provides you with shop support and a 5 year warranty with annual refreshes. I did my wheels myself with cquartz but for the truck had sigma Kore in Denver do it. 8 month old truck with...
Yeah pretty much all the mountainous crawly stuff is going to be very tight to navigate through with a Raptor. I'll have to check out that offroad park you mentioned once things open back up
Which brand? Rotoform?
regardless I think that setup sounds amazing. Red ring would look sweet especially if they could paint match it to ruby.
Backspacing look ok?
Gen 1's stopped production due to a generational change in the F150. The next generational change appears to be next year, so I would think there is at least a reasonable chance of 2020 being the last year of the Gen 2 raptor.
