Just called my local dealer to have the update performed and they claimed it’s not preventative maintenance, they will only reprogram if there is a noise/issue. I’ve never had an issue with the cam phasers (knock on wood). Does this sound right? Or should they reprogram anyway?

Self insure. Way cheaper if nothing major breaks and break even if just one major thing breaks. I’m surprised by the number of people that can afford a ~$70,000 truck and haven’t suggested this option.

The owner's manual says to use pre-diluted several times and once that if you can't get pre-diluted to use concentrate mixed 50/50 with distilled water which is what I did. Does it really matter much whether you use pre-diluted over concentrate with distilled water?

So I just did the break-in oil change on my 2018 Raptor and find that the dipstick is a pain in the ass to read. When it's totally cold I can get a reading at the "MAX" level. When I drive the truck and then let it sit for 15 minutes like the manual suggests I can't tell at all where the oil...
