not really, unless youre just goin from stop n go WOT, cruising temps matter cause if you go WOT from cruising, its better to start lower. Also im just a fan of having lower temps whenever possible.
I threw a killer chiller on my lightning that cools the intercooler fluid (water to air) with the...
good to hear, been havin an itch to do somethin to my truck performance wise while not messing with the warranty too much, think a stock location ic is decently stealthy. What temps are you gettin from ambient? Think mine on hwy in fl is like 30-45* above, which from what im used to isnt...
kinda the same in FL, kills me to see people recommend all these great ESP pricing that arent offered to FL, need like some special license to sell here.
Ironically still got mine from out of state that was allowed here for way cheaper than my dealership could offer, but its still way more than...
whew, that was a long read, but placed my order for a cvf titan, debated between that and whipple, but seems the cvf is damn near close enough in performance, plus i cant find any real world data from the whipple while CVF provides it right up front and while being a good bit cheaper.
did a quick search, nothin on my end.
Could try calling a ford parts dept and see what they find.
Just a warning, they are stupid pricey, the 19-20' recaros for one seat was about 5-6k with my wholesale discount.
Think the cushions are 1.5k each, covers too, the 21+ prob got a bump in price on that
Not to get too off topic, but red loctite on the caliper bolts?
The tq on them is 120 i cant imagine trying to take those guys off to change pads.
The brembos on the trackhawk have pins you can remove and leave the calipers on, these dont seem like they have that unless im mistaken.
Was gonna go by my local ford to get some stuff done and while there check with the parts guys if i can.
Hopefully dissembling the door isnt too bad, did it on my lightning to swap out the door handles, but was extremely sketchy cause of all the plastics and clips. Passenger side cover and jimmy...
i have a rubber mat over my spray in liner, keeps what i have in there from sliding all over the place. Not on bed rugs cause if the cover leaks thatll get wet, last retractable i had leaked like crazy
Interested in this as well.
Dont really notice any weirdness goin over speed bumps, but hitting washboards off road the rear slides all over the place, not sure if this would be fixed or not by this.
just makin sure, last time i got a bbk made for my mustang that said it would fit the stock wheel size, it didnt fit.
Im gonna chalk that up to a typo cause everywhere else it says it should fit.
Appreciate the links
kinda drawing a blank but i believe it was a hard plastic, the inside of the door handle seems hollow enough to fit them. I just hope its a separate part and not the entire lock assembly, and then how its mounted, seems mounted to the door so wonder if theres addl cuts in the door where it fits...
noticed the newer gen truck have an updated lock cylinder/ cover, so you cant just rotate the thing with a vice to open the truck id assume. Would that be able to be swapped onto the previous gen (without needing a new key i hope)? AFAIK the new gen has a lot of similar parts so hopin thats the...
spv parts harnesses installed, John was super helpful in getting the right setup for me and even facetimed me to explain it to me. Lp4s work great and got the backlight to come on with the parking lights.
Mocked up chase lights, need to get a riser to clear the bed cover.
i got 37k out of mine, had more tread left in but the sides split on one tire, prob was fine, but i was getting tired of the wet performance and noise.
