ive yet to see a single gen 3 without at least that much rust on it on the lot. Guess they just get peppered with salt or something on the convoys.
My '18 had 80k miles and didnt look anything like that, my '20 besides some weird bolts were rust free completely.
But anyway, it looks just like...
who needs a stinkin red head lamp to read the map when i can just crawl underneath my raptor to see where im goin.
Seems like a cool mod for also working underneath the truck offroad too, can see whats the issue right away.
i admit i dont check my oil every month, but i check the oil pressure and temps constantly (i love my '20 for having them), if everythings within normal temps i generally dont check. I also change my oil every 2500mi and check the level beforehand too.
Sort of random but related, @FordTechOne...

Seems to be interior motion/shock/tilt. Seems pretty funny they only discount $50 off for all that, bet itll cost 100x that to retro fit it in, if you even can.
From the experience of the svtp forums and my own, i havent heard of anything like that needed for any factory ford supercharger, dunno if these guys are any different though.
My kenne bell i just change the oil every 10k, have nearly 90k miles on it. Had 110k on the factory eaton, not an issue...
im two pour 2 a ford it
the ADMs are more than i make in a year
But seriously the Gen 2 already has more tech than i need, i came from a 2004 f150 and an xlt ranger. I dont see the huge interior jump between 2 & 3 others see, and i prefer the mix of real gauges and screen the gen 2 has (or the...
bumps not much difference, same with offroad. Only thing i feel them more on is potholes and washboards, but the live valve always seems to hit those harder anyway.
Overall driving i dont notice a difference in stiffness and no change in anything else, theyre roughly the same height and weight...
running them on the peasant gen dos.
Have 2 sets of k02s but ran into issues on the 2nd set with them never balancing right and just being crap in rain.
Coopers ride a tad stiffer, but they grip really well in sand and rain, and barely any noise with 7.5k miles on them, was worried since...
Changed front brakes and fluid, and while there i cleaned up underneath. This stuff and a soft bristle brush made cleaning everything really easy. Also installed a catch can, over three days had some residue on the bottom.
my rear solenoids went bad so i replaced them (was b getting the harness out and on) and the buzzing remained the same but they function. My eclik makes them louder but it seems for me the new sound the same as the old. Only reason i knew they went bad cause i had intermittent stiffness in the...
i did, even with some soapy agitation with a pad and other stuff just wouldnt come out. Plus wanted a "new" look anyway and i dont mind stitching, cant tell its a cover.
Common issue could be then over-tightening the oil filter and stripping/losing the skid plate bolts.
Its 6qts exactly so its hard to mess that up.
I usually do it myself cause i like checking out everything underneath myself while im down there. Its how i found my front axle seal was leaking...
i mean i think we can all agree this isnt up to Fords standard, especially at this price point.
Does it mean its worthless or junk? No, but it does seem weak to say deal with it receiving lesser quality stuff.
