I actually hate flying, not fear, but like to drive my own vehicles, don't trust other people to fly, drive, taxi, whatever! The world is full of idiots. I might be moving out east next year, possibly, so might be North of you.

A lot of times, motors get hot because they are stuck in place and the amperage goes up (amperage/heat is the same correlation), doesn't mean it's the motor or that its not, but to say its the motor because it is hot, is just wrong. They can get the window up, if they can't then they are idiots...

I doubt if it’s the ambient air , more like the condenser pressure is too high, but a good tech should be able to find the problem. I don’t know if the new gens have low and high speed or if your shutters are stuck closed, probably something along those lines. I would pull over next time and see...
