That is the easy blend door to fix, that one is located just above the gas pedal, contort your ass under there and replace it. Have the key off and unplug it first, then align the new one in place, secure it and plug it in, that should fix it.
You're probably not doing anything wrong, city/hwy is always a lot lower, my city/hwy in my gen 1 is in the 12's, but if you try to get the best you can on the hwy and drive like a granny, the high teens is obtainable with the right tire pressure and grade of fuel.
I can get that all day long on the highway with mine, easy on 91 octane, around town, no way, just saying. OP what air pressure were you running on that trip?
Welcome to the place. Sounds like your current Raptor needs the shocks rebuilt or you have too much air in the tires, etc. The rangers are a bit on the small size, but it's all in what you want in a new truck I guess. Have a look around, you will learn a lot about Raptors here.
I don't think that's factory, i've seen other guys trucks on here with the box off and its just a shiny cab behind there with those 2 vents like I posted. I'm scratching my head trying to think why somebody would do that. Has to be a reason, good or bad, lol.
Here's an inside view, looks like they clip in place, so maybe you can get all of that dirt out of the way and push it in place with a hockey stick( Canadian thing) or something.
I’m not sure, take the backseat out and see if you can pull it back in behind the cab from the inside or see if you can reach up from under the truck. I’m not sure if they are screwed in or just push clip in place.
They are easily accessible with the box off.
Yes there should be 2 of them, one on each side, they are vents, so that when you close your doors the air inside can escape out there, they are on all F150’s. It should be flush with the back of the cab.
Is that outside, under the back window? Is that one of the vents for the pressurization of the cab? If it is, you don't want water getting into the cab from there. It's hard to tell with that pic.
