I’m not sure what was meant either but I can say I really did not like the stock 24R rims at all. That gaudy “beauty”ring just looked so out of place. Thought about new wheels But after beadlocking I love them! Simple but beautiful (IMO anyway)
On my 24, I did moonroof, spray in bedliner and of course the rapid red was a $500 charge. I’ve had 5 raptors with moonroofs and never one issue. I do keep it well lubricated with silicone and it doesn’t sit outside or under trees. Worth it to me for the open air and light feel.
I do sport for steering, suspension and exhaust. 4A drive mode. I’d do Baja exhaust but it leaves the off road message on in the bottom of the main cluster “off road use only” and that’s usually where my song tracks are. Drives me crazy.
A few people have reported finding that piece in the engine bay or skid plate. It’s a cover that goes over the connector from a harness. Looks like it’s commonly left in the assembly process. Nothing to worry about IMO
Thanks, I’m so happy with it. Yeah I guess beadlocks are a little more work to check them for tightness and if you do have a flat you probably can’t just take it to any shop. But you’re right! I went from not liking the factory Raptor R rims much at all to absolutely loving them with just a...
Thanks. Give the good folks at SPV a call and talk to them about what you want to accomplish and what you don’t want. Chances are they can help you through the right design.
I have to say, I think I love the Blackwing as much as my R. Or almost as much, and I never thought anything would come close. It’s so refined and quiet on the inside but the exhaust note is incredible and she can run! Obviously a sedan and a truck are very different but the handling and brakes...
So confused on which way to go with exhaust on the R. I want deeper, louder exhaust without drone or too raspy, while quiet mode still functions reasonably well. I was thinking I may just go with the Ford EB tailpipes with no resonator but am reading that some folks say it is too raspy? Maybe...
Anybody have part numbers for the ‘23 ecoboost tailpipes? I definitely want something that sounds better than stock and this setup sounds the best to me. I do have the trombone from the factory. I like that I can still run it in quiet mode when needed too. My wife’s car sounds better than my...
I went with driving on the outside pair and spot on the inside. Seems to be the most popular choice to balance width and distance out. Give John or Sidney a call, they are super knowledgeable and helpful.
