    Gen1 shifter knob chrome wear

Well the parts and maintenace items list is growing quickly in cost so looks like I'll have to go with the OEM replacement. Or maybe try to replace the chrome with some sort of film until the budget allows some luxuries....Decisions Decisions. Hoping to take possession next week. Waiting on...

    Modifying transmission dip stick

Good point Ruger... Why wouldn't the trans filler tube be a good place to add fluid?? It's supposedly sealed and exisiting fluid shouldn't leak out. Hmmm. I was elated to find this thread but now I'm having second thoughts about paying the somewhat high price for what could be a flawed add...

Soon to be raptor owner in New England

Confirmed! It's a Done deal! Title transfer from the dealer he got the Raptor from is in process (The raptor was a trade in at Koon in MD). An eta of 9-18 is predicted for him to have the title in hand. We will then go forward with the no $ exchanged trade. The Raptor is just a truck to him...

    Gen1 shifter knob chrome wear

Thanks for your input Ruger. I'd guess you are right about the chrome peeling when exposed to the outside elements rather than being garage kept, which mine will be once she is mine and in my garage (Hopefully this weekend). I am guessing mine was daily driven and parked outside most of the...

WTB OEM rear bumper excellent condition

Ok. Thanks for the clarification. I did a google search on smittybilt and couldn't find anything that looked like it. I can say one thing for sure... they sure are pricey. I'll have to try and find out the brand name so when I put it up for sale I can at least include it in the ad. If anyone...

Hi Nick, I'm interested in the B&M magnum shifter for my soon to be delivered 2011 raptor. The chrome is peeling on mine and I think it would look good as a replacement. Do you offer any sort of discount for FRF members? Thanks. gusser

WTB OEM rear bumper excellent condition

 Yup, I agree. Hopefully no one has that bumper here on the forum and gets offended. Thanks for the offer and the option jdm. I did a search for the chrome bumper on ebay, and lo and behold I found it. A much better (and far less expensive) option to this one, even with having my...

Newbie 2011 Raptor Screw owner looking to pretty her up a bit. The aftermarket bumper on her now needs to go. Here's a pic. If you like it I'm good with a trade + cash deal. Located in Eastern CT. Willing to drive a reasonable distance to pick it up if it's in excellent condition. Thanks gusser

    Installing seat cover thread

Went to the seat shop website... I only found the driver's side seat foam available. No listing for 2011 Raptor covers. I'm guessing they don't offer them anymore.... Any other options besides Richmond?

Thanks for the info FordTechOne. Appreciate the clarification. Yes, I saw the lead frame had the extended 10 year warranty, but has since expired. As a preventative measure, should the lead frame be replaced to avoid a failure, or, if the truck seems to drive well with firm shifts, no shudders...

Thanks for the clarification FordTechOne. Appreciated. :worship: I've done a bit of research on the LeadFrame subject (I suspect it is pronounced "Leed"frame as there is no lead/metal in this part that I can see or know of... Correct?) and most recommend to replace it as a matter of course...

Soon to be raptor owner in New England

IDK nex, but it sure is ugly IMHO and does not belong on a Raptor. It looks like it's been backed into something too. If the deal goes through, finding a well-preserved OEM replacement will be a top priority!
