Rain sensing never worked on my truck since delivery. Never put much thought into it and didn’t want to leave it at a dealer for a week or whatever. Just read those posts and went out and tried it. Can confirm turning rain sensing on in the guest profile solve it.
Did some googling to see if I could find the number I read a while ago. Found a couple of places that said 5% stiffer springs. That’s much more reasonable. 100 didn’t make sense. I guess the one other consideration would be if you’re on 35s take off shocks from the R would need to have the shock...
I feel like I’ve heard it’s 100 lbs/in higher, but not sure. If you did a straight spring swap you’d run into the same top out scenario. Now if you took the entire shock, which should have a slower rebound tune if done right, you might be in business. Still with lost down travel, but rebound...
So I have truck that falls within the dates for this. Clunking is very clearly coming from the rear shocks. Took it to the dealer. They heard it and confirmed it was coming from the rear shocks. They then compared it to another 22. It made the same noise so they told me it was normal. I told...
Out of curiosity, what does everyone get for mileage towing? Little sled trailer over mountain passes and such seems to average 12.5mpg. Same drive with just a sled in the bed and it averages 16.

It’s not exactly an ATV, but the sled is around 500 lbs dry so maybe a good point of reference. I also trailer it with another sled. Total weight of that is around 1500 lbs so not a lot. Truck is entirely stock. No issues with any of it.
