I think this has a magnet on the back, so you can remove it once it's all drained. I'm so sick of having oil go all over the fvking place. Dripping from 7 different spots. Whoever this engineer is who made an access plate, then didn't actually give access needs to be bleed out in the streets...
13 at best here with stage 2 tune and I drive it like a racecar. If I'm just cruising on the highway above 85 and if there is any headwind I'm getting 9 or 10 mpg.
Just to keep some info here for historical purposes for others in the future. This happened again, but now was cylinder 6. P0306.
Just put in spark plugs and will see how it goes.
My 911 turbo does similar things sometimes and it's due to an over boost situation and the codes are similar...
I can't talk to the codes, but oil consumption would be the oil going back into the intake because of blow by, or seeping past the rings. It's all internal, nothing would be leaking.
About 5000 miles on these. Work perfectly. I do not have the harness as I don't want to rip it All out of the truck. I think they are around 150$. Selling just the boards for 900$. Pick up only and located in Tucson AZ.
Thanks goose. Going to change the plugs, clean the maf sensors and see where that takes me.
Does anyone think this is a blow by problem or an issue needing a catch can?
Interesting thread. I am now having this issue with a full race intercooler and good tuned stage 2. Wot and boom. Engine shakes like hell, cel, loss of power.
So twice in the last 2 days under full throttle the engine just stalls and starts to shudder horribly. Check engine light flashes and after about 30 seconds it goes back to normal. Currently have a stage 2 goose tune. Thoughts what would be doing it?
We change our insurance provider about every 6 months to a year. Saves us a ton of money. They all suck so it's not like we lose our on good service. As we are watching the Monopoly of everything merging, I hope insurance companies don't. Then we will all be paying 10000 a month.
